Sabine Wren is a Mandalorian warrior and graffiti artist with a creative and rebellious spirit. Independent by nature, during the age of the Empire a young Sabine defected from the Imperial Academy of Mandalore and joined a small rebel cell operating out of the Ghost and led by Hera Syndulla and the Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus. With a gift for colorful explosives and uniquely-painted beskar, Sabine’s signature starbird — a mark she left to sign her street art and other handiwork — inspired what would become the symbol for the Rebel Alliance.

Celebrating the releases of the highly anticipated Ahsoka live-action series, Hot Toys is excited to officially introduce the new 1/6th scale Sabine Wren collectible figure for all Star Wars fans!

The collectible figure features newly developed head sculpt with incredible likeness, meticulously crafted Mandalorian helmet and armor with unique paint applications, form-fitting under-suit, a lightsaber, a pair of blasters, an LED light-up Ezra Bridger’s lightsaber, the adorable loth-cat, Ezra Bridger hologram miniature and a themed display stand!

It is now the perfect time to have Sabine in your Star Wars collection!

Haven't seen the series so far, but this character looks very nice and I really like the costume.

Beautiful! But... isn't she supposed to be platinum blonde or something? Maybe I'm getting the characters mixed up, as I haven't watched the animated series with any consistency.

This is from the new Ahsoka show and the likeness is really good! I was wondering when they would announce her. Though I really would have liked a rooted version of her long hair look (which was only in the first episode, but super cute).

Despite there being a ridiculous number of female characters on this show (much like *cringe* Black Panther 2) I'm really enjoying it. Now I want an updated Ahsoka though. I passed on the Mandalorian Ahsoka. I don't care to have a Grogu and didn't want to pay the extra price. AND I think they updated her look slightly, cause this doesn't feel screen accurate. But I guess she hasn't changed enough to warrant an updated release. Bugger.

I realize the HT product follows the design of the new show, so I suppose I was confused by the show's designers' choice of reimagining the character.
I'm sure you know HT did two Ahsokas, the first based a little more closely on the animated version, but still Rosario Dawson-ish and fairly realistic.

Aww that little lol-cat thingy!

Looks great overall. They really did a great job translating animated designs into real life. (Although designing those Bad Batch Clones Hot Toys had to do it without there being a live action show.?

I think I remember she has a new hairstyle, hair color and armor paintjob every season in the animation, so that is pretty much in character. Oh and 10 years passed or something.

Loving the cat creature, liking the figure which is definitely tempting.  But I have a lot of questions north of the neck.  Like, is the helmet an actual helmet that fits over the head (much preferable), or is it really a full alternate head to replace the unmasked one on the peg?  It doesn't look disproportionate or oversized, but how do they achieve that?  If it's hollow does it have internal detailing?  But then, could repeated use damage the delicate face?  Maybe they've made the hairpiece removable for a better helmet fit, but if that is the case, I'd like to know because actually a bald-able head would have additional customizing options.

I’m pretty sure the helmet is a separate head, like the Boba Fett’s.

Ian, here’s some images of the character (not sure who did them), but it gives you an idea of what they were basing the look on.

I actually really like this. I agree rooted hair would have been cool, and it’s not impossible even at this length, but otherwise it’s a lovely sculpt. Movable eyes has really raised the bar on these figures. I have no attachment to the character, but any time a cool looking Star Wars character comes pit, regardless of its source, as long as I can use it in my own Verse, I’m in.

Thanks Mark, maybe I was confusing her with some other character. Or maybe there are multiple renditions.

This looks good. The price seems on the high side for what appears to be quite a basic figure, basic by Hot Toys standards.

The close-up of the head looks amazing. It seems that HT has perfected their eye-movement system now. Unfortunately, I'm not really interested in Star Wars anymore after the sequel disaster. NEW PRODUCT: HOT TOYS: STAR WARS: AHSOKA™ SABINE WREN™ 1/6TH SCALE COLLECTIBLE FIGURE 1f61f

Really nice figure indeed. I absolutely love Ahsoka series. Episode 5 has to be the best live action SW series episode out of all the shows. Sublime writing, acting, effects. Everything. I know I really want to collect this line but know I will always be too skint haha. Was going to collect Mando line, ended up with just Mando! Would love to get Ahsoka, Sabine, Hera and the other main ones (no spoilers from me)

LOL, I figured it out! Satine! I was thinking of Satine! No wonder the visuals didn't match.

Yes, the show is amazing but I had noticed about the over abundance of female characters....like even entire bridge crews of the cruisers all female too. Haha. But the show is still my favourite of all the live action shows now. I love Mandalorian, but its hit and miss. This feels like a saga is unfurling.

I would also love to see an updated Ahsoka as you are right, her look has altered from appearance in Mando

Sounds like Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. I got ten minutes in to the first episode and gave up. As soon as he walked on the Bridge, the only men on the ship were Captain Pike and Spock. The socio-political agenda of Hollywood is beyond ridiculous.

That is an amazing figure. Very tempting.

GubernatorFan wrote:Beautiful! But... isn't she supposed to be platinum blonde or something? Maybe I'm getting the characters mixed up, as I haven't watched the animated series with any consistency.

She changed her look a few times in the animated series 4 seasons. Different hair colours and cuts. And different patterns to her armour as well.

You did mention Satine as well, so maybe that's it.

On the art work behind the figure, the far right, the character with the white and purple hair is Sabine. The armour pattern is different as well. Nice little homage with the live action series and animated tie in with that mural in both.

As always i have to consider display space.

Main theme for me is military, also having 3x Star Wars (rey 2.0 and 3.0, kylo ren 3.0), captain marvel , and 2x Resident evil Alice.

This one is beautifull, and maybe a potential add for the SW shelf, I love the colours and sculp.

I won't pre order it, it wil be an in stock buy for me with hopefully some discount.

Looks good. I have no attachment to the character, haven’t seen Ahsoka, but I POd anyway just based on the Star Wars “cool factor”.

Yes, I’m hoping for bald-able too. I like the face for customizing fodder purposes, but would want a completely different hairstyle.

She looks great! I was quite tempted by her. The hair turned out a more subdued color than advertised, which I don't mind. Nice figure!

Scighera

It is, the colour's are what makes this figure standing out, also a very nice headsculp.
I don't PO Hot toys figures, as they are not my main interest in 1/6 figures, and 2nd market prices are mostly lower or a lot will be discounted a bit after release.

But this one is on my wishlist for someday.

The modern HT prices are quite steep compared to Damtoys and the more superior Inart. Where both Dam and Inart are doing better jobs in quality in my opinion.

Especially due to the pleather quality of HT

cdn_rhino

That turned out really well. Thanks Hot Toys..... no budget for that one right now haha.
