I am a servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the flame of Anor. You cannot pass. The dark fire will not avail you, flame of Udûn. Go back to the Shadow! You cannot pass.

The real hair version all the way. As we predicted prices for twelfth-scale figures have gone above $100 in almost no time. But this one seems more exquisite than many. And it does lend itself to posing with the glorious monster... alas, the latter is unarticulated, at three times the price and the size...

Ooph! A low budget option for a real hair Gandalf! I'll consider this one, if I can still order him in a few weeks...

I couldn't find anything else they have produced. Do we know anything about Hell Cat?

Yes, but in twelfth-scale -- which can be a problem depending on what other figures you intend to have interacting with him.

You’d have to get the Balrog to go with him.  Wink

Indeed. I wish it were articulated... especially at that price.

The likeness is not INART level, hopefully the final version is improved.

I think it has happened some time ago already.

Yes. Preordered already. I don't have anything from Tolkien Legendarium yet, so it opens the door into another setting. Oh well.

I'll have to live without the Balrog though (or should I say that in the absence of Balrog, Gandalph the Grey gets to live?), I just don't know where to find room for it.

p.s. as for the price, I see conflicting listings for the Balrog, from 190 to 300. I'll update the first post.

I think we should encourage our Alex (shovelchop) to create an articulated Balrog... in sixth scale! Smile

Heh, I'll skip on the Balrog for money and space reasons. But I'd be inclined to display him sitting in a nature setting with his pipe anyway. ^^

Now THAT's a good idea! Very Happy
