I recently bought a couple GacToys heads and a ThreeQ body on AliExpress from separate shops. When attaching the head, it fits down low close to her shoulders, which looks ridiculous.  Is there a fix for this issue or should I just start seeking other bodies and heads to match what I own now.

Well there are various ways too raise the head or neck connector. You can add foam/tissue or cotton to raise the connector. I've used thermal plastic to make a custom neck connector as well. (You can get that through amazon. They're like plastic beads that you can heat up and it becomes soft, then you can mold it how you want and it will cool down solid.)

Excellent suggestion, Craig. I haven't thought of that, although I have some (thermal plastic). I would have suggested, as so often, foamies.

Thanks so much for the recommendations. I ended up using some Barbie bodies that matched well and have 22 points of articulation (Made-to-Move bodies).

I do, however, still need to figure out a good head to put on the Three Q body. Other than ebay and AliExpress, what's a good site to find one that actually fits correctly in the first place?

As you'll find out the longer you are in the hobby that with the multitude of bodies, heads and different manufacturers, it becomes a bit of a trial and error. The best thing though is that a lot of members here share their purchases and try to provide good pictures and references. Many of us use tbleague bodies because they probably have the best documented measurements on the web and everyone here probably has one or two that they can reference easily in hand. I personally haven't used a threeq body before but it looks like many of the jointed bodies. the xing poptoys ones are slightly sturdier versions of those i think, but the steel skeleton ones like tbleague have the best articulation. Although price point is a consideration as the silicone/tpe bodies are more expensive and you don't necessarily need them depending on your project.

In any case, if you hop over to the general section there are a few pinned threads that may be helpful for reference.

Gubernator has compiled this excellent head reference for many heads available on ebay as well as official releases like hot toys.

Diana has one as well on some tbleague bodies.

Oh this is brilliant!!!! I've been working with mostly Barbies and similar for most of my life. Was switching heads and bodies back in the 70s Laughing But I only have a few years of working with the more customizable Action Figures like this. I have a ton of male bodies/heads so far, but when using the female heads, I typically use the Barbie or fancier fashion model type bods.
I have quite a few male heads that aren't fitting the standard cheap bodies either, and it's also darn near impossible to find decent shoes for these guys that are less than $15/pair. I have almost 1300 dolls in my collection, so I'm picky about exactly where I spend my bigger dollars. Shoes are typically not a big deal except in special character cases. But they pretty much all need something on their feet that fits.

I'm so glad I joined the forum here! This is going to be so much fun!! Thanks so much for the links!!
