You're really nailing the retro style from that era of scifi and animantion. And I love the pink on that Poison head. Just a perfect color for what you're doing. The bile is looking awesome. Fun seeing this all come together.

Is that ZC bike originally black then you spray-painted in yellow?
Aaaah it hurts seeing that cut to pieces!

Ends in pig snort Laughing .

It was all matte enamel black. It was entirely held with little screws except for the inside. The engine was hot glued very sloppy and had metal weights inside. Underneath the seat was a housing unit to put 3 CR32 disc batteries, but no wires or electric lights, just hot glue and cylinder weights. The plastic seemed brittle, it might of been the paint but it is Testors Acrylic. The figure had black marks on the face and stupid me thought (in Goofy's voice) "Gawrsh!, I think dunkin that like a donut in some acetone would be swell. I'll look good as new." The only thing that stood time was the helmet and biker outfit.

So the bike was painted yellow not because of Kill Bill, but I wanted to make Brad Turner but with a yellow bike. This bike at one time was going to transform into a helicopter but the project intimidated me.

And about Dune, the concept for Leto seems to have been recycled for Thunder Thunder Thundercats.

It's all looking good, the 80's had so many interesting things during it's time, sadly I never got to live through it all but I remember watching VHS recordings of shows from the era thanks to my dad's passion for recording everything he could on tapes. Also poor bike! I can take a figure apart without even thinking about it but when it comes to vehicles and things like that I really have to think it twice.

How is everyone doing? Ca declared quarantined in my area and I am placed on standby. Most tourist are stuck here around the valley in my city and won't leave due to: (coachella/stagecoach/spring break/ splashhouse/ business meetings) and tend to be... the legal term would be not nice. ..So I now have time, yay.

Going for a Cheetara style but with a white front, I decided to test powdered chalk on a Jiaou 9F BS-01, but this one was the one I washed with Selson Blue. Notice that the powder on her belly is not holding but in other places it is. I hate to waste a figure, but I might have to start on a fresh Jiaou or re-wash this one carefully again to see how to make the chalk stick. The purpose for chalk was to have a soft blend transition from white to yellow.

The yellow chalk is sticking fine. as for her shoulder, which had no wash or damage, The warm skin tone chalk on her left shoulder is perfect as well

I put the bike back together after complaints, but I might just toss it in the garage somewhere.

One of the problems I have when kitbashing is clothing. I am bad at sewing, and custom designers work for other collectors around the clock.  I tried using pants but they were too baggy and had a HypeBeast fashion, akin to Death Stranding and designer, Errolson Hugh

So I bought a pair of Loki and Capt HT pants and I'll see what I can come up with.

This is an example of HypeBeast:

Skeletor/Robotech was me just goofing off and using transparent paint in a mist sprayer. I had to take a break from the other two characters because I was having creators block

I dunno if I want to continue. I Thinking about cancelling my Gamora. I got pushed to May. I'm keeping my order of Capt Marvel.  Plus, if I get Gamora then I would need Nebula. But Since they made Mandolorian, Would they make a Wanda? or Loki? I missed out on CW Wanda and wanted IW Wanda but a youtube HT collector said it was cancelled.

I'm going back and forth on sword and sorcery to Space genre. I want to pause on this and start my Total Chaos kitbashing to see if I could transition old spawn figures to 1/6

Oh, don’t cancel yet, MA. And please don’t give up. Sorry to her parents you’re struggling with your creations — I know it can get frustrating at times. Maybe just take a break from what you’re doing to let your head clear. I think your Cheetara body shows great promise, and I like your updated Skeletor. Too bad about the motorcycle — I was really digging the direction you were going with it.

I second Mark. And Skeletor looks like an improvement on the Disney Trilogy already.

Grimy Trooper armor looks great, that padded armguard thingy looks interesting too.
And that's how new figures are born, getting creators block on the others... interesting that you jump between two genres.

Haven't realized my SciFi customizing plans yet, thanks to circumstances. Maybe it's for the better, enough to finish already. xD

Thanks! No, my parents are cool. Just trying to quarantine them. Both want to go out. Complaint was maybe the wrong word to use. My friends were more like when Patty kept telling Charlie Brown in France what the correct answer was. While in the garage, I found a 929 CBR Honda Newray. I thought maybe I should make a racing diorama, you know where the two motorcycles are leaning to beat each other. Hence putting back together.

This lead to a downward ebay spiral akin to when you watch one youtube video, then another, then another. I was looking for motorcycles which lead to other 1/6 vehicles. I got a box kettergrad for $34 and a Kübelwagen for $28. Plus I still had my crappy painted M151 A2 Special Ops Navy seal jeep. I wanted to convert it into something more Sci-fi-ish. But I might get tempted to slice and dice. So for now, every vehicle went in the garage until I could figure out what to make. Out of sight, out of mind.

Also I'm thinking about getting rid of alot of figures, mostly Triad and other stuff. They sit in the closet in a drawer or plastic box. I buy more loose parts instead of building stuff.

There are some things I like about Disney. I like the first and second.

I completely laughed so hard every time during the third one. One Example: Whenever the Knights of Ren pop out of the shadows, behind a rock, from an alley, holding their weapon cliche, there is a 'dun dun dun' music sound when they pop out. All that was missing was a twirling of the mustache! They act like Garindan , but fail. Garindan was boss. I wish he sounded like a death trooper.

I like most of Star Wars. Clone Wars Series helped retcon the second and third prequel film. I liked the look and style of Anakin in the RoTS. I'm glad that version stayed throughout the series. The Clone Wars Bad Batch are pretty awesome.

Galaxy's Edge in itself totally retcons RoSW. Even all three rides retcon RoSW.

Thanks, I wanted to figure out a fast way to weather a Shiny, so anyone could just spritz, dry, and pose. All paint and mini spray are available at Hobby Lobby, they're remaining open. the pads were suppose to be Kaustic Plastik gladiator leg guards.
