AFM Custom Black Cat

Finally got this in and I'm pretty happy with it. Had to put my touches on it though.

Definitely looks more professional, their is no point in a thief losing her jewelry all the time.

The costume designers didn't even attempt to make the zipper closeable, no?

LOL. Thanks. I always thought it was strange for so much of that be shown, in spite of what they do.

Totally agree. I was surprised by the zipper too. I thought there were options. I thought wrong but came up with a fix anyway.

So that zipper stops there, does that means that before you clothed her she was running around with one hand on her chest? I like her, there are versions of her where she isn't basically running around topless, sensible clothing for superheroes and villains should be a more common thing, thankfully you are their hero when it comes to that.

Definitely less 'distracting' this way. Highlights how pretty her face is! :')

Very nice. The whip that comes with her is pretty dodgy so I made a replacement that turned out pretty well.

LOL, She sure would need to have one hand on her chest, and that's reason I do what i do. I do not want to disrespect my wife or my fellow collector sisters.  I'm honored to wear that badge.

Oh yeah. Don't you go thinking that your thread was not on my mind the whole time I was putting her together. Loved what you did and already have the prats on order. Thank you my friend for being the inspiration behind that mod. Thanks again my friend.

For the core, I tried different wire thicknesses and 1.5-2.0 mm works best. File the end to make it smooth before trying to insert it into the braid.

I had to cancel my pre-order because it was just taking too long and I was worried that I would miss out. So I went a head and just ordered one on ebay.

I’m going to be bummed if I miss out on this. I think I’ll reach out to the retailer I POd with and find out where she’s at...

Good idea. He assured me it was still coming, but after seeing Toy Anxiety part her out about three times, I started getting concern about missing out. So away to ebay i went.

There are a couple on Aliexpress that are a lot cheaper than any of the suppliers I've seen on ebay.

That good. I searched ebay and found one that was only a few bucks more that my pre-order. But the ebay prices are getting to high now.

I finally received my Black Cat outfit set. I have to say -- what a PITA it was to put this outfit on the recommended body (the S21B) (my fingers hurt now from all that tugging). Here's a quick phone pic (sorry AFM2 if I'm hijacking your thread). Its not easy to get her to stand on those stiletto heels.

Well, Mark, you seem to have succeeded, whatever the cost/pain. Not to mention achieving a nice, animated pose.

Glad it finally came! I think it turned out great!

Is the 21b large bust? I used a 23b and it wasn't too bad for me. I also used cling wrap on the arms and legs so I think that helped.

No worries Mark. She looks great. I use the 23b also. Oh I think you have the mask on upside down. The short part goes up and the long side goes down. Great job though.

I think I have the mask the same as Stryker, but when i turned it around the notch for the nose didnt fit as snugly on the face. Although that could just be mine.

The ad has it the way you do too. I could be wrong.
