Wonder Festival 2020 Shanghai

Not necessarily 1/6, although there are some. I know verycool had a booth too and there were some pictures of their figures floating around.

Anyway, here is a link to an album I found on facebook with some amazing works. Always amazed at what some people come up with, especially the indy artists.

Some really interesting stuff (thankfully I'm not really all that into vinyl figures or statues -- much); but it's too bad some of the more original stuff never gets made into 1/6 figures.

Yea me too, I've stopped statues cause they are super expensive these days. The infinity busts are awesome, but they are too big for my collection and too expensive. I think the wonder woman was like 3500 before shipping.

Here's a link to the photo album (101 pics!). In the middle there are some stuff I see from poptoys, coomodel (i think) and phicen/tbleague. There are some bodies there, not sure if they are new.

Those male Phicen pharoah figures with actual faces look pretty awesome. Their whole Egyptian line seems to be doing well for them.

Pulled these up. Looks like phicen is experimenting more with different skin tones. (I think there was a green dude too somewhere)

Lol- they'll make a green dude and a pitch-black woman, but not an actual African/African-American skin tone...

Oh man, I can't tell you how bad I want this thing right now. But on BBICN I saw it mentioned about it being a WF2021 venue version? Does that mean it won't go on general sale later? I really hope not. If they put this on sale I will cancel my pre-order for the silver version and get this one immediately.

I’m absolutely going to lose my $#@t if they actually go through with that mermaid! So cool.

Here’s some others that I found interesting (not sure if some are just the older figures being displayed or new versions):

The cat heads look way too small compared to their bodies. They're almost smaller than the breasts!

That’s pretty much what drives me nuts about all of their Egyptian figures. I mean, seriously, why can’t they make proportional to an actual human head. They make these things look incredibly stupid with these tiny heads.

A green-skinned Osiris is accurate, but why with hooves? Oh well... Yes, the cat head is ridiculous. In Egyptian canon it would be scaled to look sensible for the human body; it would also sport a perfectly serene expression.
