Hey folks, It's been a hot minute or two but I've been far from idle.
I recently took a stab at some Canadian style Invasion Boots.
I took some two-buckle US boots and trimmed the top of the gaiter off, leaving just one buckle, then painted them black and mod podge'd the hell out of them.
Close enough!
Here they are on a figure I've been kitting out for colder weather.
I also changed my sniper over to his Whites to keep things seasonal.
I've also recently been sprucing up some helmets. Replacing the plastic strap loops with paper clip, and the straps with grosgrain ribbon.
You ever come across a product or technique you like and wind up using it on everything? That's me currently with matte mod podge.
I've been texturizing the helmets using mod podge. I apply with a wet brush, then stipple with a sponge as it dries.
Several applications later, you get a nice looking texture
