Just a few new pics of the progress I have made on this.
Some false starts and changes, minor , but I like the new direction.

I decided I preferred the console in this position, it gives the illusion of more space when the seat is slid back. Very Happy

Although it PVC scales nicely, this 1/2” makes a completely reasonable 3” pipe, I will admit it often looks like…PVC.
Some anodized trim rings help to sell a higher tech image. They will be cut to size and anchored on fnal installation. The last traces of the Lego logo ( snicker ) will be removed and a small brass nut will be attached.

Great! It's coming together very nicely.

Whenever I see the circular front window in your spacepod, I'm reminded of the old anime series 'Captain Future', in which the spaceship 'Comet' had a similar front window with a stylized crosshair. Possibly it could look nice to print a crosshair on a transparency and use it in a similar way?

Coming along very nicely. I like the sentimental classic sci-fi feel.

This is looking so cool!

I need to search for some of those "dollar store pencil trays." You have shown them to have a variety of uses.

I like the new upgrades. I like the bizarre elements added to the “view screen” and ceiling.

Thanks, Everyone!
More to come!
I’m always worried about using Legos for Greeblies because they are so identifiable, but they will stand in nicely until I have time to do some micro printing.

That's some really great work, the pod is taking shape and I love your use of lego pieces, lord knows how many times I've chopped off lego to make something, I hope Lego forgives my crimes.
