Thanks I do intend to make more original trilogy items too, I just have a huge list of things to make so am working through the list one item at a time. Also been updating regularly items already made to fix issues I noticed. Hopefully by the time I post more OT items my skills will be a bit better too

I have opened a shapeways store for those who do not have a 3D printer and will (slowly) be uploading models there over the next few days. Since I have not been able to test print anything yet I may hold off uploading certain models I feel could be problematic until I can get confirmation that they print ok.

Thingiverse is buggy and so many of my models arent showing. I have set up a printables page instead and have 50 models there so far, including recently made Lego star wars blaster for 1:6 figures and realistic style lego blaster too. Also did split droid popper/thermal detonator etc.

You are welcome. I hope they of use to some here. I know that most still do not have 3D printers but now the prices are dropping on the tech and reliability is improving it is a good time to make and collect 1:6 usable stuff

Also added a KOTOR old republic G20 glop grenade model today. Anyone doing old republic customs may have use for them.

These should be fun. There have been some very similar (or identical, don't know) as parts of various recent Hot Toys set, but this makes it possible to stockpile an entire armory.

I believe the HT set you refer to would the 501st trooper. it included droid popper / thermal detonator in whole and split versions (in cartoon size, larger than movie detonators).

Cool detonator. I think I already have a couple of those from Star Wars figures.

just thought I would add a comparison of the sideshow and hot toys droid popper (emp)/thermal detonator.

the sideshow ones are not very detailed but are live action sized while the HT one is very nicely sculpted but animated size (all the weapons on the HT clones are based on animated looks as they are actually clone wars figures in live action style as opposed to live action clones. weird.)





My 3D model of the popper/detonator looks like the HT sculpt wise but is sized closer to Sideshows. the G20 glop grenade is about the same size.

I wasn't aware there was so much distinction and that they produced them accordingly.

No not yet, I cannot print anything for the moment as have my baby now so need to avoid resin fumes (baby cant exactly wear respirator) but if you have a seller you often buy prints from they might be able to make and sell them if you ask them to get in touch.

I actually started self learning CAD design due to baby being born end of 2021 (he is almost walking now), I had to do something while I couldn't print so I decided to make my own files and build a library of them for later printing.

Working on some more variants of DC15 before moving to next thing. here are pics of some I will upload later:

I'm currently looking for props to give my various Anakin figures for photoshoots and was wondering if you were able to come up with something like this sniper rifle from TCW (or could possibly point me in the right direction if someone else has already done one):

I really like those renders, they look like photos of props!

The more compact alternative versions look great.

It's the rifle from that Clint Eastwood Clone next to Anakin, which is named .... '733 Firepuncher rifle' although 'Bad Batch Crosshair rifle' might also lead to results. Found two models from 10-20$.

yes, crosshairs rifle. I belive Skylu3D ( https://www.patreon.com/skylu3dprops/posts ) did one and Budget3D ( https://www.patreon.com/Budget3DWorks/posts ) might have done it too.
