That is correct. Identical figure in different costumes. The characters will be similar but may appear in different "timelines."

Still a work in progress, altho' nearly complete. I'll eventually swap out the camouflage pattern cap for something less military and more nautical... maybe. I may swap the yellow shorts for cargo trousers or shorts, although the yellow trunks kind of have that Jimmy Buffett Florida Keys vibe.

Body: TBLeague M33
Costume: assorted via Monkey Depot and eBay. Yellow trunks are from a TBLeague M32 body set.

Shouldn't it be Skipper Sean or Skipper James? Or is he incognito? Very nice. The more serious and realistic look of this figure appeals to me. The yellow trunks (which are ultimately inspired by Bruce Lee, who had inspired the M32 body) perhaps work in reference to an aquatic-adjacent environment. I see he has access to the bottle of futuristic antique space Vodka.

The name makes reference to an early role, Michael McBride from Darby O'Gill & The Little People.

The netting on the "futuristic antique space vodka" reminds me of the netting around glass fishing floats that used to drift ashore on to beaches in the Pacific Northwest.

And your background here is great. I also have such a diving helmet at home (in 1/6 ) Have you used it on a figure yet?

I wanted that specific head sculpt, so I paid a little more to get one from a US seller who was parting out the set rather than taking a risk with a lower priced China-based eBay marketer who might be selling knock-offs. It was well worth paying an extra ten dollars, it is a detailed head sculpt.

The dive helmet is from an old GI Joe set, so it will fit on a figure, but I haven’t tried putting together a diving outfit yet. I picked up the helmet specifically to serve as a “decorator piece” in the background. I “grunged it up” with a dash of spray paint.

But if I can find suitable coveralls to serve as a diving suit, it might be fun to assemble a hard hat diving kit. And a dive operation would fit in with this new character. Hmmm… I’m gonna have to look in to that.

Definately worth the 10 extra...

I once bought a "lootbox" with three of those helmets and some GI Joe diving suits for like 5 Dollar on ebay (but shipping was a bit more). But the suits were rather poor and crumbled under my hands.
But yeah would like to see you do a diver bash But no pressure (no pun intended) it also works fine as a decorator piece

So nice! That head is pretty. Looks much better than advertised, since the makeup is not so strong, which of course is perfect for a surfer girl.
