Wonderfest Shanghai 2023

Here are some pictures of TBLeague's set up at this year's Wonderfest, taken from BBICN. There's more pictures of other companies on the website, but my computer takes forever to load them so I only looked at Phicen's stuff.

























Mostly old stuff. Not interested in any of the new things they have on display either. I'm only really looking forward to the new skintone releases.

Hmm. Many of these are older (unless these are reissues). I’m interested in Medusa and the Hell Messenger, but nothing else. Still pissed they never released the mermaid they teased a few years ago.

Some Lucifer photos-

Popcostume has an interesting ninja and coomodel a hernan Cortez. That is what I remember from wf2023 as well as some inart figures like daenerys or thorin.

Dang, I had such high hopes for the witch figure from Lucifer, but the costume in general is pretty meh, boring. It's a shame cuz the hat and boots look cool and the HS seems promising.
I really liked the centaur figure (without the horse part). Her body has some wide hips.

Now the Berserker looks A-freaking-MAZING, even more impressive than the promo pics. Unfortunately, I missed the PO window for her. It sold out pretty quickly in every store I knew. This is gonna be one of my biggest regrets of this hobby. So long for my badass custom Red Sonja.

Hey, is that TBL Medusa poseable from waist up or is it a statue? If she's poseable, that means that there's a glimmer of hope for that mermaid figure they showed some time ago.

This Hell's Messenger is interesting. Obviously we already had two, but this one looks more hell-ish. I did like the two head sculpts we already got, but altogether the concept didn't look right. This version does.

The Medusa is spectacular. I wonder whether the tail is movable. I do think the upper body would be. And agreed: If this happens, then the mermaid may yet follow.

If I had to guess, I'd say Medusa is a statue from the waist down; or perhaps a figure somehow inserted into a the snake-tail base?

The camel looks a bit undersized or is that just my impression here?

Hernan Cortez would work well with my Pizarro Kitbash i guess. Lets see if I can get my hands on him

They do look great, and cool to see those modular bodies. Yes, the camel feels undersized a bit. And Cortez looks glorious.

The black ninja (blind ninja), an upcoming JPTDesign/Popcostume creation.... called "Silent Hound", I really like it.
For the TBLeague version of Méduse, I saw another photo which will also offer a black costume "snake" version.... looking forward to seeing that too.

Looks good. And I’m glad they went with a stern/mature expression rather than the bland baby-faces they’ve made of late.

I think she looks fantastic, but she's not for my collection. Only forces of light will enter my home.

I expect grey. She'd look great with Keir and Gethsemoni and of course zombie girl and... a good companion for Ada and her gang I would think.

Agreed. I really like it. 
In writing my reply I just got the idea of using the head and body for a custom... Dangerous territory... How to turn this into a good character... 

Nah. Pass. Too much money and hassle (selling the parts).

toysremz collectibles is the shop that has them for preorder. Forgot to put in the name in the last post. It is a trusted shop.

I caved in and got one (also got a $20 voucher from the owner bc my birthday was this month ) to complement my Pizarro.

The Hell's Messenger looks good, and the Medusa head is great. But I would personally prefer her on a different (regular) body.
