It’s been a long voyage since the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Hot Toys is delighted to bring back the Captain of the Black Pearl, Jack Sparrow as the Artisan Edition 1/6th scale collectible figure from DX Series line. This is an Exclusive release available with limited quantity of 4,000 pieces only in selected markets.

The legendary scoundrel of the Seven Seas, captured here as the lifelike one-sixth scale figure. Features a screen-accurate head sculpt with a sculpted beard and plaits on the chin, considerable effort has gone into faithfully recreating the Captain’s signature dreadlocked hairstyle. The wool hair implantation consists of an elaborate arrangement of braids and dreadlocks, showcasing intricate woven techniques that bring these textured locks to life.

His iconic smirking and serious expressions are both included for collectors by the highly-detailed interchangeable face sculpts with separate rolling eyeballs. An extensive fabric costume has been tailored to match the Captain's attire, including a long coat, shirt, patterned vest, genuine leather made belts and long boots. A veritable armory of weapons and accessories is also provided, such as the saber, flintlock pistols and an LED-lighted lantern.

Moreover, this deluxe version includes an elaborate environmental diorama base meticulously crafted to resemble a segment of the Black Pearl and a treasure chest for your shipboard display.

Holy cow! That must be a must-have for fans of the franchise/character/Johnny!

I love it!

But I wish this wasn't from Dead Men Tell No Tales but instead Jack Sparrow from one of the original trilogy films. I don't like how dark and desaturated his latest costume looks. And I dislike that dumb-looking "X" scar on his face. He's also caked in makeup in the latest film.

I much prefer the designs from the earlier movies:





It's just strange to me that Hot Toys would choose to license this film instead of the more infinitely popular original trilogy films.

I love this figure too, the hair and dreads are superb, as is the sculpting - but I totally agree with you, and wish they revisited one of the original look with the lighter coloured clothing. I have the last one they did, which is phenomenal, so not sure can justify another one, but I am sorely tempted to pre-order

The Artisan version is over priced (in my opinion)
I am not all that interested in the base concept, thus the Deluxe version is of no use to me at least.
I just might pick up the Collectors edition

It does look phenomenal in every way, even if it isn't the most vivid look for the character. I'm just grateful that I'm not all that much into pirates in general or the character, so I'm going to stick with my reconstituted earlier version (or hybrid?), whatever that was. But it is a joy to see anyway. Prices apart, investment in separately-moving eyeballs and "real" hair (if long) are steps in the right direction.

Looks great, but like their previous Artisan figures, it sold out within minutes, and if you weren’t awake when the PO went live you’re SOL. Total bull$#@t the way Hot Toys and Sideshow handle these.
