Placed a small order this past weekend for some loose parts with BlackOpsToys; stuff should arrive here today!

(I remember 2 boys in grade school who started a “war” (all in good fun, of course... back when kids could still do that) over a girl that we enacted over the course of the entire year during recess. Good times.) Hopefully your girl will do the right thing and pick one (or neither), and stop the fight before it begins...

There can never be enough animals. I'd like to see more variety, though. Dogs & horses is starting to get old. More jungle animals would be awesome! Can you imagine how big a rhino or male silverback gorilla would be? Pretty unlikely they'd be made, or be big sellers, but it would be great.
Stryker2011 wrote:The Mr. Z animals are pretty well done (my only complaint on this set -- the Chimp & Bulldog -- is that there is a small, round metal logo-like disc in the back of the chimp and on the belly of the dog; I don't recall them doing that on any of their other animals, but it's very annoying). It'll be interesting to see if they continue that practice on future releases.

No body for Jeanne d'Arc?
Where did you read that?
It's listed in the specs for both versions, as copied from OneSixthKit's order page:
POPTOYS 1/6 EX019-A Saint Knight Charge version
List:
Female head with simulate hair
Short hairstyle head
Female body
Hands*4(two outstretched steel hands + two holding steel hands)
Clothes:
Brown cotton
Brown pants
Upper hauberk
Helmet
Gorget
Plate armor
Arm armors
Cuisse
Dark leather armed belt
Dark leather belt
Weapon:
Flag
Flagpole
Cross sword
Scabbard
Other accessories:
Black bracket
EDIT: I Googled the search terms you used - PopToys "The Holy Woman Knight" - and found an Ebay listing that stated "Body and horse are not included", but that must be an error on the lister's part. PopToys list the body as included in their Facebook post.
JohnByng wrote:Thanks for pointing out that PopToys say it does have a body. I thought it dd but wasn't sure. I have sent a message to the seller to clarify. It is a seller I have happily used before so I hope they are simply mistaken.

You had me worried for a moment. lol
Maybe it's because they're so used to adding that disclaimer for sets that they just did it automatically?
JohnByng wrote:I received a reply from the seller which says that they checked and there is no body in the set so I have sent him/her another seller's listing. The seller's English is not perfect (not complaining - I have no Chinese languages!) so it may be that they did not quite understand what I was politely trying to ask. I will let you know what results from my latest message.

Hello, dear friend, thank you for your patient reply. We contacted the supplier. My colleague has made a mistake in the description of the product. This product contains a body (not containing a horse) and is very grateful to you for the feedback you give us.
If you need anything, please contact me ahead of time. I will do my best to help you and give you a discount.
Best wishes
Nice reply and much more helpful than other sellers who have banned me daring to ask polite questions about purchases in the past!
