Current shipping status (Ebay, Giantoy, KGHobby, etc)

I just got my shipping update from KGH today as well. My Barbarian Soul is finally coming home. He's the figure on my PO list I was expecting the most. I really hope TBL makes more male fantasy warriors (outside the Egyptian mythology), maybe fully armored like the Royal Defender.

Speaking of Royal Defenders... mine's still on the limbo. I'm pretty sure she's swimming her way up to here.

My two packages from Hong Kong have not moved since initial processing by the Hong Kong Post Office.  One has been sitting idle since the 12th,  (First Class International Package), the other since the 24th (EMS).  If you plan on ordering or are waiting for an order from Hong Kong, you may be in for a long ride.

Ordered 3 small packages on Jun 11,

Two of them arrived at the same time Jun 23. (12 days in total) and actually suprised me.

The other scanned Jun 26. Still moving in China.

Interesting, to Hungary the shipping is actually faster than before. Small packages like that usually took one and a half month to arrive.

In my experience so far, YANWEN-DPD delivery has taken two to three weeks, Aliexpress-PostNL has taken weeks longer. Now it seems to have turned around: a parcel ordered on 06/02 from Aliexpress via the Netherlands delivered on 06/17, while a parcel ordered on 06/09 from Ebay has not yet been handed over to DPD by YANWEN, its status since 06/20 "International shipment release - Import". I'm afraid that it will already be under customs clearance with the new rules...

One of my orders from Hong Kong arrived on July 7th after being delivered to Hong Kong Post on June 10th, so basically four weeks.

I’m still waiting on the one that was delivered to Hong Kong Post on June 24th to catch a flight to the US.  So glad I paid an extra $21 for EMS shipping on that one.

Oddly enough, my recent order from Giantoy (out of China) seems to be moving through the system fairly well.  So really, it seems to be a Hong Kong issue at this point.  No problems with EMS out of Japan or the United States Post Office to speak of.

OneSixthKit keeps trying different delivery options.

Today the tracking he sent was for 4PX out of China.

The tracking information reveals a second number that relates to Yodel, who'll be handing delivery here.

4PX is handling my Giantoy shipment and it seems to be moving pretty well so far.

That's good news.

My Royal Defender was shipped by Giantoy on April 12th, got to my country's customs on July 2nd and it arrived here yesterday, July 9th. Though the customs were surprisingly quick to release the parcel, better yet free of charge   , it took quite a while between countries. The important thing is she finally found her way home (amazing figure, BTW).

I have two ordered 07.05. As for today all of them en-route.

This one is  moving quite well so far as well.

Giantoy is located in China, so 4PX makes sense for them.

However, for OneSixthKit it seems an odd choice that you'd think would be more expensive.

The parcel has to travel from Hong Kong to Shenzen, China, before going back to Hong Kong.

I ordered a bunch of stuff from ebay, from both the USA and China and overall, shipping time seems to be normal, from 2 to 4 weeks. Stuff I order from the EU is of course much faster and within Germany its 3 days at most.

they were both ebay orders but only the second comes from China the first one i a second hand kitbash and shipped from Spain.

Update on my 4PX/Yodel shipment:

It's out for delivery today. So that'll be only five or six days total, even though it went from Hong Kong to China and then back to Hong Kong before getting a flight.

My 4PX shipment from GiantToy should be here early next week, so just over two weeks in total from China to the U.S. which is normal.

I think someone may have jacked my Jill (Valentine). My KGHobby shipment that was sent EMS out of Hong Kong is pretty much lost at this point. No updates since June 29th, and EMS should only take a week or so in total. The package contained the MT Toys Jill Valentine set and a S17B body.

I’m wondering in the back of my head if customs inspected the package contents and labeled it as “pornographic material” (which is illegal to ship internationally through the USPS) because of the S17B body. I did fill out a “Missing Mail” form with the USPS, so hopefully I’ll have an answer of some sort in a week or so.

All of this has slowed down my buying a bit a least. I’m so tired to tracking and waiting for packages that I need a break. Patience is the one virtue I’ve never had a lot of. I must have been at the Ice Cream Social when they were handing that out.

So, Monkey Depot just broke some sort of record in fast shipping, I ordered something on Friday/Saturday and today it arrived. Fed Ex sure is fast.

I just bit the bullet on a spare Nancy head - it was pretty expensive but it was the only loose Nancy head I've seen in about a year, so I thought I'd better grab it.

I had a bit of spare cash for once, so I went crazy and finally got the TBL Gethsemoni I've been promising myself since it was released. It was on the way quickly and smoothly from China, but unfortunately it's now stuck in Belgium of all places, and has been for this past week. No movement at all. Worst of all, tracking claims that it has reached it's final destination country (although not been delivered).

But unless Liege in Belgium has suddenly relocated to the south coast of England, that can't be right.



My own personal Monkey Depot/Fed-Ex shipping record is two days, Arizona US to Manchester UK. It's rarely more than four days from MD, expedited with Fed-Ex.

I only previously had such speedy delivery from Japan to UK. USA to UK in 2 is crazy quick!

Further research indicates that 'Liege' equates to 'delivery limbo' with packages stuck there for (worst case scenario) anything up to four months

So if Gethsemoni doesn't arrive by this time next month, I'll have apply for a refund.

Everything got here okay, and that’s the important thing, but I don’t think I’ve seen anything like this since the 1980s!

I don’t think I’ve ever had anything opened by Customs. They did remove the S17B from the box, but fortunately, you can’t really see any details through the plastic cover and trays. I’m not even sure how detailed S17Bs are, because I could personally care less about that. I just went with the recommended body.
