Those requirements to join are something else, 50 words or less? I'm sure someone can manage no words at all!. Great photos as always, I do like learning more about this world of yours.

I'm actually part of another forum also; Action Man Mobile Operations or AMMO for short. It's mostly dedicated to Action Man / GI Joe collections but there is a section for seamless figure and also a general 1/6th scale section.  The interesting thing is that the members of that particular forum, perhaps because of its more military orientation or some other factor, are more willing it seems to take the bait and engage in an interactive back and forth. In doing so, we merge our worlds without thinking too much about it, and in fact we even collaborate on some scripts.  My last attempt to get interactive participation here went nowhere but was very successful there.  Although it took a few posts to get there, they eventually got to high comedy with everyone having a good time.  Anybody who's curious about it can check it out at this link. It's very tongue-in-cheek and I'd like to try to get something like that going here.  I probably won't succeed but it's worth a try.

The 50 words or less thing is just me leaving an opening to others to write something amusing and tongue-in-cheek if they post a picture. The rules are Kamiko's and Glynnis's, not mine. Ultimately, I really don't care if someone posts a photo of a Darth Vader figure as long as they write something germane to the topic and funny.  I don't really care what timeline they are in or even what galaxy as long as everyone tries to have a bit of fun with this.

Pretty interesting start. I’d like to say I’ll post something, but time is so short I rarely have time to work on my own projects. I like what you have going on, in this and the other thread, though.

I'm glad you like it. The guys at AMMO are mostly British and have a very Pythonesque sense of humor about things, though SCU HQ, who is the guy with the General Patton figure is American and is quite the comedian also. I'd really like to try to get something like that going here because there are so many members here with great figures. I know that many don't have the means to insert text balloons in the photos, which is why I made this challenge bit simpler and just asked everyone to send a snapshot of their applicant with a brief description of why they would like to take the course. That post apocalyptic girl figure with the Vietnam era helmet and golf club of yours would be a good candidate for instance. I'd sure like to see some others like Reverend Spooky, Aeryn Diana, AlKelAstra91, Ovy, GubertnatorFan or anyone else with a good sense of humor send an "application."

The same challenge has been posted on the AMMO site and I happen to know that SCH HQ is already preparing one of his whoppers, while Blonde Action Man himself and I are working jointly on a script of a conversation between Kamiko and BAM HQ. It will take a day or two before the responses are posted, but I' know they'll be a hoot when they are. If you check this thread out in a few days, it should be loaded with funny stuff.

Sure. We'll try to get something fun going. If you check out the links I posted for the AMMO thread, you'll see how uproariously funny the posts can get once the spirit sets in.

Man I really need to find some time to get some photos done, your ideas to make things around here more interactive are great. I have some ideas for both of your challenges, but you have to be patient, haha.

No problem. Take your time. Be creative and if you have time, take a look at the links I posted for the same threads posted on the AMMO forum in case you haven't already. It will if nothing else, give you an idea of how far this sort of thing can do.

To my great surprise, a parcel was delivered yesterday ( a Sunday) containing the S23B figure I ordered from Giantoy in the last week or so of September.  I had intended it to be a replacement body for Miyori, who's body had been hijacked to create Teenage Michiko, but didn't much care for the look once the clothing was on and decided Miyori could wait for a more slender and less muscular S17B body. In the meantime, I introduce Amanda, an applicant to K-Troop's survival training course.

I think I like Amanda best among the whole bunch. Even if her late boyfriend joined the damn anarchists who tried to seize power by attacking my mansion!

Well that was all Cal's idea, she says. She told him it was pretty stupid idea, but he took it hard when you had to close the gyms because of the apocalypse and then he lost his job at the Jiffy Lube. She's not saying it. but I strongly suspect she's the one who ratted Cal and his buddies out to the FBI and the National Guard. Still, it's good to know you weren't harmed.

BAM HQ's Response (Hope you guys enjoy it!)

After much thought Jenna has selected the three Agents that will take part, they will be awaiting their plane to take them to K-Troop HQ!
Jenna has selected Savanna, ex special forces who is very eager to learn how to handle edged weapons! Harley, yeah, okay she nuts, but she has some amazing skills including demolition and planning, Jenna is hoping Kamiko may be able to teach her discipline! and BAM HQ's latest recruit Mila, trained as a specialist, but is eager to learn new skills.

Quite welcome. We more than encourage participation from other members. When this thread was started on the AMMO forum, it generated a lot of very creative and completely hilarious responses. We've had a lot of fun with it.

Good to see you here Dave. I think Dal got shown a trick that allows him to post immediately, because he's been posting from day 1. You should ask him when you get the chance.

I did indeed, I was copying the image locations directly from ammo and posted here using the insert image, two across from the you tube icon
