I should remind myself more often to take pics this way too rather than taking none or feeling stressed or unhappy because I do not achieve to create the scene or accessory that I wish I did. (As for presenting the pics just as they come out of the camera: yes, definitely the preferred way. I am a total dummy with photo programs.)
ReverendSpooky wrote:I really like both of these shots. The high contrast of the shadows is really effective, and both very nice looking figures. I also really like the idea of this subtle magic, simple and understated. It's a concept with a lot of depth and potential.

Depends on the color of the background.A Man wrote:
The image here is taken just before buyer's remorse set in. The model showing the outfit in the advertising material must have been quite a bit shorter than Beata. Clearly the legs of the trousers are on the short side, and top and the trousers were supposed to overlap each other. Also, a man cannot help but wonder if the black version of this outfit would have been better if one didn't want to be noticed.

Thank you for commenting. There are more sad stories to come: Elvira M's is a bit sad, the girl with the pink coat is about a difficult start in life, but still heartwarming - and I think you will enjoy reading about some of Michaela's struggles.BAMComix wrote:Great looking character, but what a sad background.
Wasn't it Helmut Lotti?A Man wrote:
Someone reached out to me and pointed out that "The new king - a Helmut Lotto triubute band" was still active.
Well, they may not have formally disbanded, as I incorrectly stated, but work in the group was plagued for a long time by the Flemish and Walloon members never being able to agree on anything. Eventually, they did agree on letting all non-Belgian members of the band - including Beata - go, with both groups planning to recruit new members that would help them gain an overall majority in the band. Maybe not so surprisingly, the remainers have been unable to agree on one single new member since Beata left.
