So, after Stryker (& GubernatorFan’s) threads about general vendor listing (& more recently vendors having current sales) and after countless hours of web searching specific pieces I’m looking for, I wanted to start a thread devoted specifically to vendors who support kitbashing. (I apologize in advance if this should be in a sub forum or if this has been discussed prior, I am new.)

Stores like Toy Anxiety (www.toyanxiety.com) immediately come to mind.. they purchase (or maybe use older unsold kits) and de-package them, listing every single individual piece and part as it’s own item (laborsome, I’m sure! : & at a pretty decent price before any current savings) for us kitbashers. They have over 6,000 items in stock!!

Is there a list of vendors who, while may not specialize or focus on kitbashing like Toy Anxiety, but do indeed have a decent amount of individual 1/6 pieces for sale. I’d like to stay away from eBay sellers as “listings” can disappear over time for future reference.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: left off Stryker as the online vendors thread listing so added him to it.

This is not exclusive, but yes, there are, and they are in our list of retailers (perhaps we should point them out as such) --

Battlezone Hobbies (USA) https://www.battlezonehobbies.com/

Black Ops Toys (USA) -- https://www.blackopstoys.com/

Cotswold Collectibles (USA) -- https://www.gijoeelite.com/

Monkey Depot (USA) -- https://www.monkeydepot.com/

Rattlesnake Toys (USA) -- https://rattlesnaketoys.com/

Toy Anxiety (USA) -- https://toyanxiety.com/

Zhukov's Attic (USA) -- https://zhukovsattic.com/

This is apart from numerous exclusively (?) eBay retailers. Many of the ones above have an eBay presence too.

I wasn't sure about that, thank you. I have now indicated the retailers we know to part out sets in the retailer list.

Thank you very much for doing that. It’s a helpful addition to the listing.

Now, about figuring out which brands hands/feet are compatible with others! Laughing Hahah (and I’m kidding, I’m almost certain that’s already contained in these pages) Thanks, again!

I’ve found that most hands — aside from Easy&Simple are pretty interchangeable with either male or female figures — feet, on the other hand, not so much. Most male feet should work okay as long as they have a ball joint socket, but that isn’t always a guarantee. Female feet are often problematic — so if you are dealing with bare feet for say TBLeague, your best bet is to use their own.

Hands are generally easier to swap between models (see Stryker's comment), heat treat to make it even easier. With few exceptions, TBLeague male feet are too big for most sixth-scale footwear, so a foot swap is sometimes necessary. Many will fit on TBLeague ankle pegs, especially if you subject the plastic to heating with a hairdryer (or hot water). If the fit is wobbly, use some elastic cord (interposed between the hole in the foot and the ankle peg) to tighten it. Recent larger-bodied female feet by TBLeague are also larger than most standard female feet out there, so they too can benefit from the occasional swap if you need to stuff them in footwear. The same principles apply. Explore the Clothing seamless bodies thread for examples and suggestions:

I didn't see anyone mention these:

Wartoys: https://www.war-toys.com/

They do specialize in WWII parts only.

And for female figs, there's SMCg Customs: http://www.smcgcustoms.com/~smcgcust/Prestashop/

And some I don't have links handy but are easy Google searches:

Echo Base Toys
World of 1/6th
Legends Toys and Hobbies
Urban Samurai Hobbies
Time Walker Toys
Cotswalds Collectibles

Thank you for the suggestions. Have you looked at the full retailer list?
https://onesixthfigures.forumotion.com/t1860-on-line-retailers-list

We will investigate omissions and add them as appropriate. Are you sure all of the ones you listed part out sets (which is what the present thread is about)?
