Okey right now I have decided to cancel all my pre orders!

I was able to contact sc_strore9999 and red_star1689.

Was unable to reach lwstore2013. I needed ebay to step in. Whish me luck!

Do not, i repeat, do NOT give them any additional days!
Thats what I did and then when I wanted to contact them again, they somehow blocked me!
The second you give them some room, they'll do everything in their power to avoid/block you. There is no negotiating with scam artists.
The stores you mentioned are all super shady, and not to be trusted from my own personal experience.
I won a figure from sc_store9999 two days ago. Got a message back saying they only had one in stock and that it was broken.
Went to check their store and they had another three advertisement on Buy It Now for the same figure, with an in stock number of 5.
I guess I got too good of deal or something. Got my refund right away at least.
Heck, sc_store is STILL trying to sell a figure that's literally been discontinued, and claiming that its a "pre-sale" item! That kind of crap really ticks me off!
Literally taking collectors for morons! Ebay and other online Scammers - Page 3 1f620

A good thing to remember is that most of the sellers you listed are being run by the same group of people. Don't trust any of them.

The negotations and visits to various places are not over yet.

So for now.

Keeping contact sc_store9999 told him I have changed my mind and want a refound. The rest is up to his response.

red_star1689: unable to open case as the estimated time of item arrival will expire on jun 01. Then I can open a case for item did not arrived under ebay money back cover.

lwstore2013: bank visit, will tell the end here once it is over.

Unfortunately, you'd have to report all of these stores as well:

cxy2019
lwstore
lwstore2013
mny19-53i
red_star2013
red_star201349
sc_store999
sc_store9999

sunnymayhair
starshop*2012

As they're all being run by the same group. :S

I'm currently having another fun go around with tototoys.

Lwstore2013 is the most problematic one for me.

sc_store9999 at least acknowledges the fact that he can't ship the item due to "supplier issues" Right now he remommended me to pick an in stock item from him as an exchange for my order, it is still in progress.

red_star1689: went full lwstore2013 he does not answers my letter as for now. In jun 1 the extimated shipping time ends and I will have 30 days to open a item does not arrived case

I don't know, but must have something to do with the recent mess, underpaid sellers looking for extras? Or maybe their bosses seeking for cheap money?

In all cases the fact that good old sellers just happens to be like that and they eventually deszroying their own ebay profiles is still weird for me

Yeah, good points. But still, very disappointing. It's made me very wary of buying on ebay in general now. Feels like every purchase is a gamble. Whereas before, I used to feel most of these sellers were pretty solid.

Buying from Ebay since 2013, i don't had any problems with orders and even pre orders and just happened to have 3 at the same time, and all of them are sellers whom I had orders before.

I wonder if it could also have to do with the destination country? Like Asmus has trouble sending to UK right now, might be true for some chinese sellers too.
On the other hand, they always can exclude certain countries when adding items to ebay...

So far, I still have no problems getting stuff from these sellers (unless it is a preorder which I don'T do anymore on ebay) this year

Then.. don’t preorder on eBay. Sorry to point out the obvious, but anyone who’s been in this hobby long enough will repeat this over and OVER and OVER until it finally sinks in for newcomers. If someone continues to put their hand on a hot stove expecting a different outcome, doesn’t learn from it, well... Wink

The thing is Mark , if this has been going on for so long , then why hasn`t eBay done something about it ? Most of these sellers have a good high feedback rating , there is something seriously wrong here . Either people are not complaining or eBay is not taking much notice , which wouldn`t surprise me , as I imagine they are making lots of money from these business sellers .

I imagine it IS a bit of both. But, if a seller has good standing and hundreds/thousands of “good” ratings, I imagine it’s hard for eBay to keep up, or take a seriously active role in rooting out the problem. And, if like so many companies, a large portion of eBay staff is working at home, that just adds to the dilemma. If more people take stock of what’s going on, keep in contact with sellers, and make active steps to cancel a PO before time runs out on getting money back (something I’ve done on cheap items, and never had an issue), the problem may not become insurmountable. Also, folks need to keep a level head when contacting support to ensure the problem is taken seriously (like mentioning that the issue only seems to occur with these sellers when the item is a PO and expensive). However, if no refunds are made, the seller doesn’t keep in contact or act “in good faith” before said deadline — the buyer only has themselves to blame for not contacting eBay or PayPal before they lose their money. Until recently, most of the mentioned sellers weren’t an issue, without insider knowledge it’s impossible to speculate as to what’s gone wrong other than the world is still in a state of chaos. So, I stand by the rule that you don’t PO from eBay EVER unless you are diligent, or are willing to lose your money. Not trying to sound harsh, or lecturing, but that seems to be our current reality.

Well, this is interesting.
The headsculpt that I ordered from sunnymayhair in April arrived very quickly, within three weeks and exactly what I ordered.
I have an open order (a lingerie) from lwstore2013 which was posted within a few days from ordering and seems to be ok when tracking the parcel. We will see if he sent the right one, but for now I have no reason to doubt. - UPDATE: succesfully delivered today, within 3 weeks. Original product.
I really don't understand why they don't send your orders properly either.

The thing is that many of these stores (which may in fact be one or two outfits under different names) have a pretty good track record, and most are names I recognize and have not had a problem with in the past. The degree to which these are truly scams is unclear, although the tactic of blocking dissatisfied customers is both very suspect and very reprehensible. I suppose there was some sort of cost-benefit analysis that indicated it as a viable way of minimizing damage and utilizing a loophole on eBay. As it happens, I just ordered something on eBay, only to receive a "this is a pre-order item, do you mind waiting, or we can work something out" response. I really didn't feel like waiting, so I asked for a cancel and a refund -- they are trying to sweeten the deal but we'll see. The point is, some of this may be that they are pre-ordering items themselves, but then don't bother to list them as pre-orders -- perhaps because customers are less likely to place an order or perhaps even because of the bother of updating the listing when they are in stock. They need a certain amount of pre-orders to ensure the item will be made available in the first place, and that may also be driving this deceitful but not necessarily intentionally predatory practice. And when things don't work out in a timely fashion, the customer is (potentially) screwed. I'm not excusing it, or liking it, but it seems to be a viable explanation for much of this situation. Perhaps the adverse economic conditions have made things more difficult when it comes to the manufacture and supply of such items, or their sales, and the businesses have started adopting these modified practices in response.

Update: 05.20

lwstore2013: fully lost. The case to old for refound. Seller remains silent. Lost cause.

sc_store9999: case is old for refound but the seller suggested to me exchange the item for a stock one.
Today we decided which figure it would be.
(Be positive he could just ignore me like the other two)

red_star1689: silent and does not answers. Refound could be applied in jun for item not arriving. And most likelly it will be the end in this case.

A note: it seems like not just sc is capable to have cancelled product in stock , yjym-50 just recently put nordic warrior up on ebay

A bit late to the conversation here, but I've had a similar problem with Red_star2013
Paid for a pre-order in Sept '20

Contacted Red_star2013 in March when I saw it was available in other stores. I was told to wait. Will be sent in 1st. Quarter
Enquired again this month. No response from Red_star2013.
Enquired again 2 weeks later. Again no response.
Contacted eBay. "Bad luck. Too late. Contact Paypal"
Contacted Paypal "Bad luck too late."

I too trusted Red_star2013 because of previous purchases and didn't want to put more stress on them because of the Covid situation. Always polite never angry in my communications.

Just out of curiosity I tried to order from them a moment ago but I've also been blocked.

"An item you selected wasn't added to your cart because the seller won't sell to buyers who don't meet their requirements."

So yeah, I get the message "Don't pre-order on ebay"
