It's Sunday night, so that means it's time for another sixth scale review. Tonight I'm checking out the new Hot Toys release from Beauty and the Beast - Belle! She's gorgeous in almost every way, but this was one of the rare occasions - at least for me - where the figure I received fell short of the one promised with the prototype, at least in one very key category. You can find my review here:

or with the rest of the reviews at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

Michael

While I've never seen the movie, I did actually purchase this figure. I'd have to agree with everything Michael said in his review. It is a really well-crafted figure. I just wish Disney would stop remaking all their animated movies into live-action ones. The results have been rather hit or miss.

Really? I've enjoyed them quite a bit - Beauty and the Beast was excellent, as was Jungle Book. Pete's Dragon was middlin', but let's be honest, the animated movie wasn't exactly Disney at its best.

I thought Cinderella was meh... (despite Kenneth Brannagh’s involvement). I was into The Jungle Book, until the songs. If it had just stayed semi-serious I would have liked it better.

Thanks for another great review. The difference in the skin tone is palpable, when compared to the promotional photos.

Wait, there were songs in the new Jungle Book? O_O I’m definitely glad I skipped it! The original animated films were fantastic, there was no need to do live action versions! I’m still in denial that they’re redoing The Lion King. -.-

Regarding the figure, she’s a little pricey but beautiful quality!

Yep. Christopher Walkin played King Louis (the Orangutan), and they had him singing! Took me completely out of the movie.

The accessories for this one are really nice.
