Well, it was inevitable. If Hot Toys wasn’t going to make her, it was just a matter of time before some bootleg company did her. Not bad really.

The movie was cool. Never read the 'comics' - so this isn't for me, but I guess it will run like sliced bread.

It isn't for me either (there is just something automatically uncanny valley about those oversize eyes -- yes, I get that she is actually a robot, but I guess I'm really not into anime and this reminds me of that), but I think they did a great job, insofar as we can judge from the promotional images. The first and DX versions make best sense to me, and the movable eyes are an excellent idea. I wonder if she stole Endgame Thor's pants (and shrunk them in the wash) or vice-versa. (Just got a pair parted out.)

HT didn’t do the Rollerball version, as seen above.

DANG IT!! I will probably order the DX.

Looks pretty good, from what I've seen online playtoys is Mr. Toys? Very tempting especially if you were a fan of the series. I missed out on the HT version.

strangely, i couldn't find a screenshot showing a full figure of her Motorball version.

so, comparing this with the Play Toys,
1) the shoulder and arm armor not accurate
2) the helmet not enough weathering

and probably more if i could compare it with the version from the movie.

And Play Toys didn't showcase version B without the clothes. The HT figure that i have, i respectfully display Alita's body without any clothing, as it looks nicer. So the base body from Play Toys is questionable. The good news is, the HS has movable eyeball, which will make the figure more realistic. So, i am still going to PO this. I wish Playtoy pay for the license, so it's a way to show support for the movie, in hopes that they will produce the long-awaited Part 2!

Interesting. I have to admit, the likeness is slightly off. Maybe her eye's should be larger?

That's very tempting, since hot toys did half the job! I'm gonna consider seriously!!! (if only they were doing sets, I'd grab both versions)

I usually rather like slightly oversized, "doll-like" eyes in action figures, so I'm not quite sure why this doesn't really float my boat. I find the figure less uncanny and off-putting than the CGI-enhanced character in the movie. In some scenes she's "cute," but in other scenes, like in the last screen-cap above, the look is deep in to "creepy" territory.

The costume and accessories are kinda cool in a Tron meets Rollerball way.
