Wait! Wait! I know this one! Hela from the MCU Thor:Ragnarok movie as portrayed by Cate Blanchett.

Hela doesn't fit my collection, but my head sculpt addiction is in full force and I've already POed.

Would make a good witch or vampire or barbarian fighter blackening her eyes... I'm sure I will find a suitable figure for it eventually, right?

If it's like the By-Art Polaris sculpt from last year then it will look exactly like the promo photos.

I like it, too. Heck, I like all Cate Blanchett sculpts. One thing I like about this one in particular, is that it doesn't have the horns, so it is not quite so character-specific.

Yes, just pre-ordered from there after seeing the announcement. Along with the NR Gal Gadot -- soon I'll have to put together a More Gals post.

There’s something a little off, but overall not bad (and a lot cheaper than the custom that I got from Nut Piz a year or two ago.)

Not bad, tempted but don't have a hela or idea for a kitbash.

It would make a great Yennifer head sculpt — more accurate to the book at least (not sure about the game; and definitely not the series)

Same here. I have a feeling she won't be compatible with TBL skin colors. Will see. I'm definitely excited for this one. And I definitely did not need this one.

Yeah I have a slightly modded S47 earmarked for it but I've a feeling it might be a bit too 'pink'. But fingers crossed until it arrives.

It might work with a pale body and some sneaky lighting, if not a suntan. Otherwise, it's time to experiment with pastels!


This has released a little early, hasn't it (which is nice, but unusual)? I'm sure it was scheduled for July.

Heh, no idea. Once I hit that order button I forget about these things.
I hope she will look good. I'm really in the mood of creating something unique for that head, but she has to be worth it.

Royal ******* Mail   seem to have 'lost' mine for me, and I'd like to know if it's going to be worth trying to track down another one.

Ordered mine through Monkey Depot, so it will be a while.

My parcel is out for delivery so I should be able to provide photos soon.

Royal Fail have totally gone to **** now, at least 1 in 4 of their deliveries to me seem to 'go missing' lately and the stuff that does turn up is always well behind schedule.

She arrived today and I got to say she looks just like the promos. Which is a shame, because it wasn't perfect. Her face is too long and her eyes stare into nothing.

The bigger problem though is, that she has no adapter. Her neck was too short on the S23B.
She was too big for the S25B.

She looks alright on the S47B, but she can't lower her head any further than on the photos. The neck is very tight, which at least prevents ugly gaps.

Her hair is nicely controllable and her hair cap is black, which is convenient.

I took these photos outdoors in natural light.

She looks pretty good even in macro photos.

I’m getting more Cher than Cate.

Yeah, to misquote Hall And Oates, I can go for that. A 47 is what I've already got on standby because I think it's the nearest available to Blanchett's actual physique, so that's great.

Time to trawl eb*y in search of a decent seller.

Well after all that palaver, this has only gone and finally turned up, so I don't have to trawl eB*y after all. The outer box got bashed about a fair bit in transit apparently and there is a 'we are officially sorry this has reached you in this state' apology note from the local Delivery Office attached. The inner By-Art box and the sculpt itself are in fact unscathed.

I see this as absolute concrete proof that ranting on a forum actually gets results!

LOL Oh no, now we will have an avalanche of rants and venting! But hey, glad it worked out!

No neck adaptor, but there is a hole for the neck ball. Popped right on my S23B with no problems. I like her.
