Sneaking Back the place I'm familiar (Life Update after Covid Pandemic) 29/10 Final Update

Hey guys, long time no see...

Things change over the past few years, my action figure hobby activities have halted since the covid pandemic comes over...I've gone through several jobs, contracts, permanent jobs, freelance, etc...and now I am fully become self employ as a videographer....and these little humans eventually come back to my tracks...





Show some of my old stuff I if you only recognize the works rather than the person XDD

As my career made me decide to move to a landed house, I was shocked at how many action figures I've collected to date...you know what? I needed the full amount of Ford Ranger cargo space, just to move my figures....see these pictures...
I got chairs, tables, spare bodies, wrists, feet.....and men's balls from TBL of course...

I need to ask...how come I ended up with so much stuff???? I was promised my mom just buy a few action figures as a collection!!!!!! And I'm afraid this Ikea cabinet I bought ONE...is not enough for these...

some of this silicon stuff was degraded over time, they become sticky and loosing "flesh", but the body with the full cloth, still looks fine, I guess because of humidity and how the clothes keep them dry... And some of these white shirts and pants, become yellow already...

I am so missing here and regret I didn't keep in touch with you guys, but I hope you guys understand that action figure freak like me, never stops playing and taking photos of these things...before I might take some time, arrange this mess before Chrismas XDD

Ya, in Malaysia its only hot day and rain day, humidity here is high, even I put a lot silica gel in the carton during moving house, it is still helpless for some of the TBL bodies...

Ya, also humidity here is high at my place.... I guess it is time to invest in some new bodies though my wallet is not quite happy with it

Welcome back lawlaw! I remember some of your pictures and most definitely I remember your avatar.

Now your sniper looks like she had a burn accident on her arm that has healed up. I like it! It adds to her story!

These are exciting times and while it may be a bumpy ride I am really looking forward to coming out the other side. I hope the many changes in your life are for the better, at least in the long run.

Welcome back, maybe some talcum powder or corn starch may take away some stickiness to the silicone?

You got a lot of really cool stuff there, and you photographing skills are amazing. Glad to see you're back and hope to see new pics from your figures soon.

I always left a lot of silica gel bags around my figures on display case and I also started using baby powder from time to time on them, after one of the bodies started getting sticky and others began to tear. It seemed to do the trick. Fortunately, none of mine got those wrinkles, maybe cuz I live in a mostly dry climate.

Yes, getting myself settle down a bit is quite an achievement, along with still a good shape and health...

The burn accident arm....this makes me decide to keep her old body for that badass reason your idea is great!!

Most of them become sticky when they didn't wear long sleeves. I applied some baby powder....but I still have 3 of 8 TBL bodies breaks and naked "bones" like terminator...well, I guess I just clothe them up

Yes, keep an eye on them at anytime... glad you don't face the problem like me....though I think I can freely pose these damaged bodies since they are more flexible when their joints are naked and no longer limited by the silicon...

I'm glad those tips are still relevant in 2022!!! I will share some more stuff I've learned over time, especially the setup and lighting methods, etc....

Thank you....It was tough when mother nature came abit aggressive, but still feeling lucky that these action figures goes well with me...and time for new shows

Alright...this is my final outcome for my figure cabinet...I decided to show my favorite characters and not add another cabinet to fill all of them...

Since some of the seamless TBL bodies have cracked, I no longer need to pose them straight for long-lasting, I put some powder so that they don't get worse over time though...I will order some new bodies too.








And this Bane, I've lost his both feet...I don't know how, and when...So he will be in my drawer at this time.

See? A bunch of headless bodies I am gonna hide before my mom realized


After some head scratches, those living in the cabinet, are my enlisted candidates I confirmed their design and style XDD (I got a heavy fever dream like a film director)

First of all, figures in this highest stair are clue less thing....that Kevin Spicy (Yes, I thought his name is spicy when I was a child, and I will keep calling him spicy), that Steve Austin...He was the first head sculpt I want to collect...and now I still don't know what to do with the head sculpt... XDD

And the freakin 2 meter high Jason Statham (DAMTOYS 78066) he just not able to blend with the rest of the figures...
