NEW PRODUCT: TBLeague - Hatshepsut (PL2023-212A/PL2023-212B)

I missed this entire skintone fiasco earlier simply because I couldn’t be arsed to click on yet another boring tbleague faux-gyptian release.

At least they improved it. I never look at tbleague figures as anything other than kitbashing fodder these days anyway, so the rest of the figure is irrelevant to me. It just sucks that these darker skintone bodies will likely be expensive and hard to get once parted out.

skywalkersaga, 100%! I checked BBTS and its like $249? wuhdaftpunk? Sideshow at least has their TBLeague figures for $169, but they go on waitlist in a few days, less than a week.

I updated the images on the initial post with some new ones.

I still don't like the updated version. The skin tone would have been more appropriate for Mohegan. But at least they are trying.

Pulled the trigger on the latest version despite the historical flaws. Heading to Egypt next month and got Hatshepsut's mortuary temple on the itinerary.

Me too! I'm really interested in this one but would like to see some in hand photos to help make up my mind.

I am not sure of the availability of the TBLeague Egyptian Figure PL2023-212B; the darker skin, black hair version. Was it ever released? All the vendors I look at still have it as PRE-ORDER.

I have been building up my TBL Egyptian collection (now 11 figures) and I can find all of the other releases, but not the "212B" I do have 212A the blonde figure.

Can anyone tell me if I missed it or is it still hung up on production??

The darker body version has been released, I know because I have the body and some of the accessories. However, it is perfectly possible there is a new batch on pre-order.

I live in France and the two stores where it was online, have already sold it and no longer have it (it's been several months.).
Maybe elsewhere. I know that on Ali express, you can find it, but the customs fees are super high (For my case, but I suppose yours is similar.)

I did look on ALI Express and only found the 212A (Blonde) figure.
They did show the (withdrawn Black) figure and the new brown skin figure, but sadly not for sale.

So, I guess I will have to hope one appears on eBay or my favorite dealer can rustle one for some undiscover back storeroom.

Here's a quick photo and while not historically accurate, I get that it's more of a fantasy depiction which makes it exceptional.  Also included photos of my visit to her temple in Egypt recently (lots of tourists!)

I agree with the statement ... not historically accurate, but then again, (IMHO) all of these 1/6 figures are purely for decoration and display and not meant to be accurate. As I mentioned, I have 11 TBL Egyptian figures but, (somehow) I missed the 212B (dark skin version) I'll keep hunting eBay and other places and hopefully one day one will appear. I fear is the cost will be out of my reach.

The photos of Hatshepsut Temple is wonderful. I have 4 books on Hatshepsut; her reign; her temple and the Gods and Deities and such. I would dearly love to go myself one day ....

Do look around for the set -- BBTS, Timewalker Toys, Cotswold Collectibles, Monkey Depot, EKIA Hobbies, eBay, there might still be one or two that haven't sold -- and of course it looks like there are more on the way (hence, the preorder). Also, if it is more specifically about the body, that has been parted out occasionally on Monkey Depot and Toy Anxiety; additionally, it is the same body (and skin tone) used for the (Hindu) Radiant Crown Divinity (or was it Deity?), for which see in some of the posts HERE.

yes it's the same body, but not the same head (it's obvious^^) and the nails came polish differently.

This one, at least in France, is even more sought after and therefore even rarer.

I saw it for sale for a few days (1-2) and it disappeared. The Egyptian one, a few more days (4-5) and some sites have really high prices like 350€.

Otherwise you have people who sell spare parts, but it costs a fortune in this case.

Correct, the heads are indeed different, as are the shades of nail polish -- one is red, the other orange.

Thank you for the response. I must have tried 25 +/- places that sold TBLeague but to no avail. I can't believe that I missed her.

I find it strange that all of these dealers are , yet TBLeague doesn't issue a second release. Not only for this figure, but there are a lot of sets that are gone but still in very much in demand.

I will add her to the list of ... MAYBE SOMEDAY
