SGD Studio Tifa Lockhart 1/2 (or 1/3) scale

I recently received the long-awaited SGD Studio Tifa! She certainly doesn't disappoint! She's quite large when compared to TBLeague 1/6 scale. The material of her "flesh" seems to be made of higher quality than TBLeague as well. She's definitely just as posable. She comes with two outfits, her normal battle outfit and her purple dress. Her clothes are made of stretchy material, although I'm having trouble making her wear her purple dress. She even has gold earrings, silver earrings, her bracer, an armor part for her materia orbs, battle shoes, purple high heels shoes. Her eyes are also movable, but it's hard to do because you need to use some kind of long metal stick to poke the eye from the side to move it.

Tifa's hair is also very nice, feels so realistic! Just be prepared style it to make it look good because when she first comes out of her giant box, her hair's definitely a mess.

Tifa's fingers can also be bent in all sorts of ways, so it's quite fun making her pose or hold stuff.

Paint application is just as advertised. Very beautifully done! Her skin is actually very realistic as well. If you look closely, it looks like how real human skin looks like with little bumps and things like that.

Just like TBLeague, SGD Tifa is also anatomically correct.

And if 1/6 scale wasn't good/large enough, now there is this!
Of course everything can be more detailed at larger scale. She looks great. And I like the photo with smaller figures. Recursion!

Very nice, looks more beautiful than any other version to me. Thanks for the review and videos.

Wooooow, she looks incredible!!! I wouldn't mind if this scale becomes a thing, so I suppose space would be an issue. But having a few heads to swap around and a few archetypal clothing sets.... I'm thinking of this as a drawing reference again. Had this been available ten years ago I might never have gotten into 1/6, because of course articulation and realism are going to be better at this scale.

But then I never would have found this forum so I wouldn't even know what I'd be missing out on! I love you

An IRL friend of mine picked this up!. I'm currently debating whether I should get SGD's next release, 2B from Nier: Automata.

I probably won't because I'd have no room to display her. I'm fine with leaving 1/4 and 1/3 scale statues out in the open, but a silicon figure like this needs to be displayed behind glass.

Very true, the new SGD 2B also looks like she's gonna be great. Best of all, she'll have her sword! But there aren't many pictures of her yet so I'm not ordering her for now. I managed to save a picture from the SGD site before they removed it last month. The costume needs to be improved to be more accurate. It's still missing those little things hanging from her sleeve, her black leggings

Yep, I completely agree. That is one of the reasons I was on the fence, apart from the aforementioned space issue. Her outfit is wholly inaccurate, and I think SGD is aware of this because they initially advertised this as a "2B Cosplay" Doll instead of a 2B Doll. Hopefully, the outfit is improved on as their Tifa turned out great!
