I ordered a JXK003 black cat in the walking pose a few weeks back and it just arrived. It’s the perfect companion piece for my Catwoman figure.

I immediately want to add whiskers… any thoughts on how to accomplish that?



I love the level of detail in this piece. Makes me wonder how far they’ve come in the years since making these.

I wonder if you could use the bristles off of a toilet brush (you know the white ones), put a dab of glue on the end and stick them on…?

I actually spoke to an online friend of mine whose been adding fur to Master Splinter figures, including the whiskers. I asked him how he added them and was surprised how simple his process is. It’s fairly close to your suggestion but with one edit. He took a small needle or thumb tack, made a small indention in the area where he wants whiskers. From there he took a cheap dollar store paint brush, then cut the bristles off and added a dab of super glue to the end, and lastly inserted the bristle into the hole while it dried/cured.

I’ll likely be trying this process for Miss Kitty soon.

Very nice purchase. I just picked up the heads when they were parted out on Ebay a few years ago.

Another example of the difference between promo pictures and reality. I bought the figure 'discipline commissar'
(sounds a little bit weird) produced by Flagset.

I changed the body to a seamless TBLeague-body and chose a head sculpt in a fitting skin tone

Nice upgrade, El. I’ve never been impressed with anything by Flagset thus far. The heads are usually, as you say, cheap looking, the bodies suck, and they are both often very small. The background looks really cool, and your upgrade made a world of difference.

I agree, definitely an improvement.

The original head and body look truly terrible. But at least the outfit looks the part and you made good use of it in front of a new beautiful background.

Agreed. The one Flagset thing I ever looked forward to was a complete disappointment. I was able to improve the headsculpt with a repaint, but wow was the original paintjob lacking compared to other contemporary heads. O.O

Elbundy's figure looks 1000x better now with the upgrades.

So darn happy that finally 1 of 3 shipments from china finally arrived. The issue is, this was the 3rd of 3 shipments. Meaning 1st and 2nd are still in limbo.

I would be interested to learn about your experience with these house elf figures. Can the head be painted with acrylics?

It's possible, I might try it with Warhammer contrast paints first, since I am turning them into goblins

Are they poseable? Soft wire armature?

Using old gundam markers, the rubber plastic does a nice job of having paint adhere to it.

Yes, fully posable as well.

That's very cool. Now I want some too. Not in love with the specific Harry Potter thing, but I also want to make more goblins.

In online video game stores, the 'The Division 2 Phoenix Shield Edition PlayStation 4' is currently sold for 35 Euros. It contains the Playstation game and a 1/6  figure of a male Division agent, that is fully equipped (sniper rifle, crossbow, and submachine gun). The figure is of very good quality. The female agent figure in the pictures (head changed) is published by Virtual Toys.
