I got me one of these. She indeed cannot stand on her own, and the bikinis don't last long (she had a 'wardrobe malfunction' in one of my shoots).

With a pair of shoes she can stand on her own. I bought a Combat Girl set from Flirty Girl, and with that she could stand on her own.

That's true.

(She didn't stand on her own in the second picture: I held her steady there).

Thanks for confirming what I thought: like most seamless-footed figures, in boots and hi-tops that support the ankle to some degree (as in your photos) this will stand up OK. It's still not enough to convince me that is this is the way for TBL to go (as they sadly seem to be determined to, if their new Keir figure is any indication). How these figures can stand in flat shoes or heels that don't support the ankles is another matter entirely though (because they won't), and it renders the 'fully seamless' effect totally redundant (what's the point if you have to keep the ankles covered anyway?).

That said, I've got one on the way because they were going cheap on Alibaba in the run-up to Christmas.  Laughing

S34/S35 is one of my favorite TBLeague bodies. Yes, it can have independent standing issues, but I usually use my figures for photos and not as static displays, so it works for my purposes. And it poses well and looks so good!

For what it's worth, clothing from some of Mattel's playline Wild Hearts Crew figures will fit the S35 body.
Here are a couple of comparison pics of Wild Hearts Crew Kenna Roswell and an S35 approximation of Kenna Roswell.
Once again, this figure features a YMToys head.

Shoes: I dunno... something from eBay

For this photo, the S35 managed to stand up unaided – for a little while, at least – in the low-top sneakers (which are rather stiff).

Has anyone tried VC Villa headsculpt with this body? I can use the Villa head on the s25b, but wondering if it works on this one as well...

I don't have my camera handy to take pics right now but my VC Villa sculpt has a very tight neck connection which I think is the original, and it fits OK on my 35 with a bit of tape around the neck peg (but I think the head looks a little too large, personally). A slightly smaller sculpt that looks better is this JXToys 'Avril Lavigne' sculpt that you can pick up fairly cheaply:

I imagine any of the YM 'Anna' sculpts would be a good fit for the pale body, but I don't have the 34 to try it out.

Thanks, GeeW! I can always count on you for these kinds of questions, lol! And that's a great alternative headsculpt recommendation, I keep meaning to pick that one up. And you're right that the Anna would probably be perfect.

There’s also alternative hairstyles of that sculpt without the pink streak if you don’t want to go full on Avril.

Yep, I should have mentioned that - of the two other variants the shorter blonder haired version is also nice, but the 'stripe' version looks more 'teen'.

As for the S35 body I just got - well, I do like the basic design (gargantuan boobs aside), but even so, all the disadvantages listed throughout the thread mean that I probably won't be buying more unless they bring out a version with detachable feet.

skywalkersaga

skywalkersaga
I understand completely -- I'm thinking of getting one of these bodies finally, but if I do, there will be a gooboo-style ankle/foot modification in its future, since I have zero use for a figure that can't stand or be properly posed.

That is correct. It is the kübelwagen by 21st Century.

Brilliant posing with the New Ray scooter. I have been thinking about buying one of these for quite some time, and your photo is quite convincing...

Prices vary within a wide range on eBay for the New Ray Vespa scooters, but if you keep checking, reasonable ones show up from time to time. The one seen here I've had for many years, but I recently purchased another one on eBay.... because they're that cool!

DarthJ

Checked Ebay for that scooter : either the price is right but the shipping costs (including customs duties etc...) are not or vice versa.
Saw 1 British seller quoting no less than GBP 149.99 (approx. US $207.18) as shipping costs to the EU.  Brexit is bad but not that bad.

There are alternatives though, a multitude of mopeds, scooters and other motor cycles produced for fashion dolls such as Barbie or Sindy.
Some are rather decent models such as this one below.

I found this one, where shipping is much moe reasonable:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEWRAY-49273-or-48993-VESPA-150-VLIT-model-bike-bike-sidecar-cream-1-6th/222434414191?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=521299621838&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
They got the sidecar and the regular Vespa.

Don't forget that we now have to pay VAT, a handling charge and eventually customs duties on anything purchased in the UK. That's about 34 Euro extra for this motorcycle.

Thank you for your response. Do you see any difference in build quality between your two Vespas?
Some buyers seem to think that the quality of older versions was better, while newer ones have grey plastic instead of chromed plastic, poorer build quality and issues with the paint.

I noticed the grey soft plastic instead of chromed hard plastic, yes. A bit of a disappointment, but not major. I was hoping that the examples showing up were "new old stock," but that is apparently not the case.

Hey all - first post here. Been lurking a while but I couldn't stay silent when...

...my TBLEAGUE S34 up and came to life! Shocked (a subconscious dream come true?)

Seriously though, pretty impressed with the facial motion rendering that a silly mobile app can do in less than 5 minutes... Yeah, it's certainly far from perfect, but considering it rendered from the single 2D photograph I'd uploaded? affraid

I've got to say, both the unimpressed expression and the surprising choice (given the voice) of music enhanced the experience. Pretty good moves, too.
