I place an order with Aliexpress around once every fortnight. Everything always arrives but the time is highly erratic. Shipping time is most often 3-4 weeks but it can vary from 2 weeks to 3 months.

I found this eraser in the shape of a dumbbell in an One-Euro-Shop in Berlin. It inspired me to this little scene.

The eraser is excellent, and I loved the scene (killer bra, too!). Smile Is the middle part of the eraser also the same material? Because you could always remove it and attach the two weights to a little metal or plastic rod if you want to make it look even more realistic. There are several of these, both cheap (Click N'PLay) and expensive, of which I used some in the TBLeague M35 body super thread. But this has excellent potential.

This luggage tag shaped as -eh- luggage can be opened and used as some sort of attaché case for documents.

Today is June 6.  78 years ago the Atlantik Wall was breached on D-Day.

So today I present to you  ... a piece of the Atlantik Wall.

Found in the dunes between Wenduine and De Haan a few weeks ago. I remember that 40 years ago there were still small bunkers visible here with debris all around as it had been tried to blow them up. Were they (finally) destroyed ?  Or were they simply swallowed by the sand ?  This little piece of concrete is all that remains.
It could be used as a small vignette, a small base to display your figure.

I first saw this item on a Youtube video.
Started a search, first on its manufacturers site, then on Ebay and finally found one in the UK. Which of course cost me a fortune in postage and VAT. An "advantage" of Brexit.

" Look, a parcel from the UK. "

barbiecustom - Useful items for sixth-scale environments (continuously updated) - Page 24 Img_7210

" Looks as a missile warhead. "

" Nah, it's made in Canada, it's harmless."

barbiecustom - Useful items for sixth-scale environments (continuously updated) - Page 24 Img_7211

Actually it's a set of salt & pepper shakers shaped as Montréal traffic cones. Which have a particular shape and size. They seem to fit 1/6th scale. Anyone can tell if that's true ?

Zuru mini brands have released new waves of their mini's including mini brands and now "foodies" which re-create American fast food in miniature form. many items look good for 1:6. Also, Jazwares new miniature Star Wars vehicles and figures (basically Galoob Action Fleet reborn) are good as toys for your figures. I bought 2 of the blind box mini vehicles but both were the same (scout on speeder bike).

Anyway, pics of the mini's I opened recently:

I'm glad Deadpool and Ron Burgundy approve! Very nice. I usually have horrible luck with these.

The scale can be a bit off with the Mini Brands, and I hate that its impossible to guess the contents of each ball, but they’re good quality minis! We haven’t got the foodie ones in the U.K. yet, but I hope they give us some U.K. exclusive stuff like they have with the mini brands as I don’t think we have Sonic etc here.

Ooooh, really?! Damn, my local Smyths is really awkward to get to but I’ll need to wrangle a way of getting there now - it’s the only place I’ve been able to find MTM barbies in stores too!

Yeah, they seem to be the new Toys 'r' Us. Big stores with moderately good selection. The pink aisle usually has something useful it seems.

Some cool food items. Interesting tidbit— White Castle makes those mini burgers we call “sliders”. They’re disgustingly greasy, and after a long night at the bar/pub they usually make you throw up or crap your guts out — either way they’ll clean you out. Horrible, crappy food. The Subway stuff looks good, though.

I found another mini-tv slide viewer. Not easy to find, they seem a thing of the past.
This one shows slides of the "Halve Maan"  (Half Moon) Provincial recreational domain in Diest, Belgium.

I’m a little late picking up on this.  This is a very cool use of a retro trinket that was not intended for the 1/6 purpose, but there’s a tech advanced alternative – sold at Walmart or Amazon, as cheap as $14.97.  Made by Basic Fun! (who make all those World’s Smallest that we love).  A photo really doesn’t do it justice, as it plays several minutes of video clips with sound.  It even has a working remote control, with onscreen visible effects like a sound bar, etc.

They have 4 Mini TV Styles.  The first 2 styles work ok in 1/6 scale: “Ultra-Retro 50s-60s”,  “Retro 70s-80s”.  They may seem a bit small, but we forget how small the early tube color TVs were.  The third style  “Classic 90s-2000s” works fine as it’s a monitor that could be any size.  (The bases can be taken off).  But the fourth style “Millennial 2010s-now” is probably limited to 1/12 scale.  None of the remote controls are sized in 1/6 scale of course.

There are 8 themes for now:  Batman, Star Trek, Friends, Big Bang Theory, South Park, Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers and Back to the Future, plus Jaws and Jurassic Park coming soon.  You can also get the raw technology in a DIY Kit, but it’s pricy, and looks a bit rough https://tinycircuits.com/products/tinytv-diy-kit .

That's awesome! A real working "old time" TV with Star Trek stuff; I don't have a use for it, but it's pretty cool.

You need some furniture to put on those TVs.

2 low tables, 1 small cupboard.
