thanks for sharing
nice idea to take a close up of the backpack and gun… we should focus on accessories more often rather than the figures only

Thank you very much, I do appreciate it Smile

I agree, sometimes seeing the gear and kit can be really nice, especially if work's been done to help improve the look of them.

I keep coming back to look at this set, so my apologies for not posting earlier, but I wanted time to give it the response it deserved. Very Happy

First, I love your subject matter.  Probably like many of us here, I'm a huge fan of both the old west as well as WWII stories.  Illusion was right, the photo of the Sten on the rucksack is very eye-catching, and a great perspective that wouldn't normally be seen.  And in regard to the Sten itself, I've never seen a more realistic Sten Mk5 than that.  The wood truly looks like real wood on a well-worn stock.

Not that it's necessary to pick a favorite, but I'd have a hard time choosing between the two Jerrys setting up a position for "Hitler's zipper", and the one of the Brit planting the explosives.  That one looks straight out of a scene from Where Eagles Dare.  I'm imagining him preparing to blow a bridge to prevent the Germans from chasing him and his team to the airfield, as they make their escape.  haha   Excellent job on this set!  Very Happy

Thanks very much, Doug! I truly appreciate the comments.

I really like the lantern shots, but getting that lantern to work can be a real pain in the butt sometimes.

I take a lot of pride in doing wood grain work.

I've got quite the arsenal of repainted weapons now.

I was thinking of Where Eagles Dare when setting up that shot! Also a bit of the Sean Bean film, Age of Heroes.

That No.4 Mk1 is gorgeous!!! You have every right to take pride in your wood grain work. It's simply incredible. I know who I'm going to when I need a rifle stock painted. Cool

Thank you sir!

I found a neat trick of using graphite on the weapon's moving parts to help ensure they keep their functionality, makes for some mighty smooth action.

Interesting trick. Thank you. Of course you don't want graphite anywhere near seamless bodies! Wink

Agree, I love these shots, they work so well, especially in natural light outside.

Beautiful paintjob on that Mk4. How long is it in 1/6? I printed one in 1/12 recently but not sure of it's size is correct.

I checked last night, My Mk4 is just over 7½" long.

Also thanks, ukshaun! Snow shooting is really fun but can be challenging too, once things start stiffening up.
