Meticulously crafted based on the image of Ben Affleck as Batman/ Bruce Wayne in Zack Snyder's Justice League, the figure showcases the Tactical Batsuit in gorgeous detail with updated paint applications. The 1/6th scale Batman figure features a cowled head sculpt with interchangeable eye pieces and lower faces capturing Ben Affleck’s facial expressions, interchangeable goggles, a specialized body portraying Batman’s muscular physique, finely tailored Tactical Batsuit textured with elements of battle-damage, a highly-accurate Parademon gun, Batarangs, grapple guns and multiple Bat gadgets. The figure also comes with a Paredemon diorama base tinged with painted lava and weathering details.

"Celebrating Batman Day." When is Batman Day?

Looked it up. Batman Day has been celebrated since 2014. The first Batman Day was held on 23 July 2014 during San Diego Comic Con. Subsequently, Batman Day ("the official day set aside to celebrate the Dark Knight and his impact on popular culture") has been declared by DC Comics to occur on the third Saturday in September... which this year was yesterday, 17 September.

Apparently Hot Toys announced the figure on Batman Day, but the estimated release date is a year and a half away (Q4 2024)! Holy Rip Van Winkle!

The September date, as far as I have been able to determine, has no direct connection to the character or his origin. The first Batman comic book story was published in the 30 March 1939 edition of Detective Comics No. 27.

To me, the arbitrary date selection for Batman Day seems problematic, as some years Batman Day will coincide with International Talk Like a Pirate Day (19 September - tomorrow!).

More or less, yes Ian, this is a reissue with a base from another batman and a couple accessories from another minus a headsculpt I believe.

Less upgrades of painting doesn’t offers a really advantage to order this version…and I‘m a really Batfleck-Fan.
