Can anyone identify this medieval figure?

Can anyone identify this 1/6th mediaeval figure I found in a charity shop? The only clue is that it's marked under the boot "© K&M Int 2001 China". Any idea what series of products it's from, or whether still available?  https://i.servimg.com/u/f52/20/46/40/79/knight11.jpg

Hmmm, I'm drawing a blank. This must be from an earlier line than what I've been looking at or collecting. I thought maybe one of Sideshow's Monty Python action figures, but it does not seem to be from among those. Possibly an Ignite (Time Silhouette?) figure, although those tended to be a little more realistic, at least later on?

It is a Medieval Knight figure by K & M Toys. I found at least two images of the identical figure. Unfortunately, both images are on that ridiculous Pinterest website, and offer no additional information.

Similar, but not identical, figures were marketed by Ignite circa 2003 as the Time Silhouette line.

Thanks for figuring it out, David. I was unable to find "K&M" knights in google search but "K & M" did the trick. I only saw photos on Pinterest. I repost them below. Looks like they made several medieval figures, including Crusade Knights and Vikings, for their "Victory & Valor" series. The one in this thread is their "Black Knight," and they also had a "Red Knight" and a "Purple Knight." There were also three Viking figures  ("Blue," "Red," and "Brown"). You can see a couple more photos of it below, and also the boxed "Red Knight" and "Blue Viking" figures.

I hope this helps. But looks like they would be quite hard to find.

I have used Pinterest before, but overall that site drives me nuts.

Ah, so it is one of the Victory and Valor Crusade Knight figures! I only saw the red and blue versions in my searches, and I noticed a similarity, but I did not notice the Black Knight pictured on the packaging!

Yes, there were three knights and three Vikings, perhaps intended as adversaries for play battles.

Thanks very much everyone for your helpful responses to this question. Well, that's a really interesting result, and leaves me a bit baffled as to what this lone figure with no accoutrements was doing in a charity shop. I don't expect I'll be able to find the missing gear, but I'll look around for some bits to finish it off with. Well done everyone!

Interestingly, I've found absolutely none of these figures on eBay, and more recent similar products seem incredibly expensive. So if anyone can recommend a source of a cheap 1/6th scale longsword, helmet and shield (preferably UK-based), I'd be interested!

Here's a helmet. Expensive, though:

Yes, well spotted, I had noticed that; but, as you say, expensive (by my standards anyway!). I've also seen a couple of 1/6th swords and shields on eBay, but at about the same price - so it would add up to a very expensive oufit! I paid £4 for the figure, so I don't want to turn it from a cheap buy into a very costly one. So the quest continues...!

For a sword, try looking for sword keychains? I know one of our members has successfully used those in the past. I'll have to have a look around for suitable helmet and shield...

ETA: I had a look at some of the shields available on ebay. The ones I'm seeing are about $14.99 or thereabouts. I honestly don't think you will find anything too much cheaper, at least not when it comes to actual 1/6 scale action figure accessories. So the only other option is probably just to make a cheap shield yourself.  You could then 'splurge' on the helmet'. Just an idea. ;p

'Expensive' pretty much sums up the reality of the 1/6 scale hobby, unfortunately. It sounds like that knight you picked up was a rare and lucky find!

Ignoring current 'official' Star Wars content for my own sanity.

Good thought about the keychains. Also I've looked at letter openers. Yes, I suppose a shield would be eassy to make, a helmet less so... I'll continue the quest!

Perhaps this can help:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/265341204290

Also, look for "Marx knights" and "noble knights" listings on eBay.

All this might require some modification (esp. painting).

Oh, those are interesting, thanks - 3D printed I assume, should look good with some painting.
