I don’t recall ever seeing modern dress uniforms. We get a lot of field uniforms, of course, but never almost never uniforms. I have the Marine dress uniform figure based on Ed Harris from The Rock (I believe it was Soldier Story that did that one).

Oh , that's a great question. I'd be interested to know of any other examples....

Well, I know that there are those WWII Captain America Sets, those actually work as a stand in of the New US Army Service Uniform, which is basically the WWII dress uniform in new material. The Cut of the Jacket is the same, but instead of green, tan khaki pants are worn and the shirt and tie also are in different colors. The Hat is pretty much unchanged from its WWII counterpart, and they even re-introduced the "Ike" Jacket as well as the long Trenchcoat and Leather bomber Jacket.

The Tom Hanks "Destroyer Commander" figure also wears WWII Issued Navy Dress Uniform and that same uniform is still worn today, but with minor differences, like the Officer Hat is now White and not seablue.

As I said, as Ironman 2 came out, a company made the US Air force Dress Uniform, to go with James Rhodes, but I cant find it anymore.

The US Marines wear tan Kahki to this day, and you can basically retool the 21C Drill Sergeant Uniform for that (would be short sleeve order then) and only in ceremonies, the "Dress Blues" are worn.

I have been searching for:
1/6 scale E-Cigarette

So far, no luck?

I have managed to fine things including: pipe, cigarette, hookah (an accessory that ships with the Hot Toys Fantastic Beasts Gellert Grindelwald MMS513 figure).

Stryker2012 wrote:Here’s a question for all the female figure enthusiasts: I have the TBLeague Sinful Suzi figure that I’m planning to use for a custom figure (body is stark white), but I can’t find bare feet that that work (and this despite having all the different sized bodies). I’ve even tried plumbers tape and that didn’t work. Either the hole is too big, or too small. The ball joint is approximately 6 mm in diameter.

The sinful suzi looks like the amazon body or base body S52,S53.

If the feet ball joint is similar to 52/53.. it should fit standard size foot from s10,17,20,23 n such.. and also large foot from s28,38,46,52..

if you have other box figures with similar bodies can try it out to see if they are same balljoint size, liker kier and soldier amazon, which have bare feet.

I found feet that work, thanks, All. There was a weird “ring” of hard plastic on the figure (with her boots on, she is super tall), and once I removed the ring, and heated the feet up like crazy, the ones I found worked. Not sure which TBL bodies they came from (I have both hands and feet in containers based on skin tone).

Forgive me if I already asked about this one, it's been a while....

I'm looking for this YMToys headsculpt. I actually owned it previously, but had sent it away to an artist right before the Russian invasion of Ukraine began in Feb 2022. Sadly, this caused me to lose contact with the artist, and have not regained contact since. This headsculpt has now become scarce and the only listing I'm seeing is quite expensive.

Does anyone have this one and would be willing to part with it? Or, does anyone have the others from this same 'set'? The hairstyle and hair colour don't matter because I plan to completely re-hair and repaint it. It's just the underlying sculpt I need.

This sculpt appears to be relatively common on US eBay:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p4432023.m570.l1313&_nkw=ymt+011+head&_sacat=0

When you search, search for YMT 011 1/6 head. Or YMT-011.

YMT11-B is not the correct number. YMToys usually prefaces the sculpt number with a "0".

Current prices run in the ~ $40 USD range, shipped from China. Forty bucks seems to be the "new normal" price for head sculpts. Neutral

Thanks, davidd! There was barely anything showing up via the UK search, but I'll expand it and have a look!

Ah, you are in the UK! I wasn't sure.

Oh... you're right! Only one shows up when I search UK eBay, and nearly sixty quid! That's odd, considering that most of them are shipped from China. Seems like they would be equally available on US or UK eBay.

Yes, I had a mild panic when I saw only one showing up. Mainly because I've been burned in the past with purchasing 'rare' listings only to be told the 'sorry we don't have this in stock' line. Rolling Eyes

Say, does anyone know what sort of 1:6 holster would fit a 1:6 Desert Eagle? Would be nice if anyone could point me to one.

I need a seamless body for Lt Mira Romaine of Star Trek TOS. In „real life“ being 165 cm tall, got small breasts (B cup), a tiny waist and chunky thighs. Any recommendations welcome. Thank you. Please help me find... (continuously updated) - Page 40 Img_8910

And a proper head sculpt.

Good luck on finding a sculpt you can modify, but the body would be a TBLeague S28 or S29 (with the desired skintone, presumably S29B, suntan, would be closest). This body is a bit curvaceous and stands about 27.5 cm with a head, which corresponds to the actual 165 cm in 1:1.

Thanks a lot. I tried TBLeague S39 which looks quite similar, scarfed the waist and amputated the huge b**bs. Looks not bad if dressed, the arms seem too chubby though. What would you think of TBL S 42 or S46?

Their build is beautiful and possibly a better match, but they are both the tallest bodies TBL have to offer.

You are right, those bodies would be ca 175 cm in real life, way too tall for Mira Romaine.

Perhaps one of these or something you see when you look them up:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/166671517484

https://www.ebay.com/itm/126395302232

https://www.ebay.com/itm/285031582822 (these guys have their own store outside eBay, might be a better deal)

Also, Hot Toys made Johnny Depp as Tonto from Tonto and the Lone Ranger.

Makes sense. But then you really only need a head, and that seems rather hard to find... Good luck.
