Hey Folks,
I've been keeping busy sprucing up and repairing some older weapons I've had kicking around.
I've been applying a wood grain method gratuitously and I've been loving the results.
First I scratch and gouge up the wood areas with a blade, then use a beige coat, then add some red and orange.
Then I add a brown wash.
I repaint the metal with a wrought iron acrylic I have, and then a wash of diluted black ink all-over.
Sometimes I'll add some graphite (From a 4B Pencil) to certain bits.
Then it gets a coat of floor polish, brushed on, and then mod podge to seal.
Also added a scope to this one.
Remade the sling for this one with some hockey tape.
I just finished these two the other day.
I've also done an MG42, DP28, plus some MP40's.
I'm just finishing up some M79's and an FG42 today.
