Interesting. I do love the skis, the coat (although it might be a little too smart for its own good). The head sculpt is beautiful too. I suppose they have accidentally shown they can do sexy even when fully clothed. And they even resisted the temptation to call her Siberian Hussy!

Looking at the pictures, the skipoles seem to be too big (their diameter), especially at the handgrips (and the oversized knob at the top).

This is a really neat set! One of my main characters is part Russian and somewhat resembles this head (TBL Nancy in Hell), and she's talented with a sniper rifle. She could be her grandmother or older aunt from the Soviet era.

I spotted one of these on ebay today, and entered the code ( BBK BBK018 ) here on OneSixthForum
if only to see if the figure had been mentioned here, which it had (here on this thread)

I can honesty say that i did not copy BBK BBK018 1/6 Snow Sniper in any way.
The white boots i went with look very similar to those used on BBK BBK018
Like wise, i decided to spray paint the rifle white.

This needs weathering like a horse needs water! It looks like a cheap toy my daughter would play with.
Also what is with these figures and makeup? "I must head out into the snow to fight the enemies of the motherland....let me just put my eyeshadow, foundation and BRIGHT RED LIPSTICK on first".

Don't get me wrong, I get that these are fantasy representations. It doesn't need to always make sense, but if they are going to make the HS a makeup slathered supermodel with perfect hair, then sexy up the outfit too. Why not go the whole hog?
This can't seem to decide if it's a semi accurate military figure, or a pin-up. It's not sexy, and it's also not very appealing or believable as a military figure.
Verycool are a good example of pulling off both, sometimes at the same time! BBK certainly haven't nailed that here.

Always end on a high, so...some of the kit is nice enough, (especially with a bit of home weathering).

I see this as more of a Bond Villain, rather than a “real” snow sniper, so the “sexy” factor makes sense when viewed that way.

She does kinda work as a retro Bond villain, but I'm not seeing the "sexy". I'd say go more sexy to match the made-up head, or tone the head down to match the fairly unsexy clothing.
