Are those knees from the zombie virus?

But nice head

The body looks similar to that hideous mess Hot Toys used for Harley Quinn. The head is cute, but is she supposed to look like a 12 year old? Between this and the Boy Band Leon, it’s hard to take them seriously as zombie killers/police looking like a couple of tweens/teens. Are they recruiting them young in Raccoon City?

Interesting new DamToys body, looks kinda reminiscent of the upcoming WorldBox bodies. I realise the knees are a bit distracting, but I rather like it.

other than those joints, the figure and equipment do look good and as my memory hopefully serves me correct, are true to the remake of the second game.
i havent checked claire's in game age, but the story has her as sister of chris redfield, so technically a civilian stumbling into town. if the young look gnaws on her credibility you're in for a treat with the awkward " flirting at the fence in slow motion while moaning zombies are closing in " scene. but its the series that started with a "jill sandwich", so corny lines and stupid actors are iconic to the resident evil franchise.
though mostly in an entertaining way

back to the figure, ugly knees or not, its those kind that you keep displayed in action pose i'd wager and i not so recently had a coo model seamless body "die" from an ever so slightly bend knee pose. so back to jointed figured for me it is, i guess.

Like most everything about this except the knees. I think it's more the overlapping that sculpted which probably looks ok straight, but when bent looks super akward. Honestly I would have prefered the old double jointed knees of generic bodies. Even the worldbox had a tighter fitting kneecap so it doesn't protrude out when bent. May look for loose parts when it releases, as the clothing looks well tailored and the boots are nice.

I'm not even that much into this franchise, but love these -- except of course for the open-jointed bodies and especially the oft-mentioned knees.

Jordan McEwen the model! She's so beautiful, but the body, it looks like she could use her knees to stab zombies in the head! I wish SuperDuck would make a realistic head with hair of the person!

Hmm, I see the likeness to the real model, but not so much with the game render you shared.

I like the figure and the accessories are impressive - both in quality and quantity.  Three handguns, a submachinegun, an M-79 and an AT-4 anti-tank weapon!  That should take care of more than a few zombies.  Nice detailing on the back of the jacket too.  I might try to pick up the outfit and some of those accessories from one of the breakdown sellers and kitbash a Phicen body.  

Otherwise, what about a set of knee pads and elbow pads to obscure the joints?

Also, DAMTOYS does seem to pack lots of extra stuff in their kits.  I bought a Navy Seal SVD Team Sniper, and it came with both a Mk12 Mod 1 sniper rifle and a Mk18 Mod 0 CQBR carbine, both fully tricked out including silencers for each one.  The Mk18 is now firmly in the hands of my first Tactical Tease kitbashed figure.

It's a shame that these figures are so expensive. 290 Euro for Claire is too much, despite the load of weapons that she's coming with. As the stupid RE fanboy who I am, I had to preorder despite the price, of course.

Also, Claire doesn't come with her original RE2 Remake outfit (license issues with her leather jacket?, s. the UB Toys version below). So, I will probably need to swap outfits with the UB-Toys claire. I hope that the pleather hasn't deteriorate by the time DamToys will release their Claire in the distant future

What a beautiful photo! With the exception of those dodgy knees she looks really pretty. What a face! (And great posing/composition. )

Oh yes, beautiful photo indeed... but damn, those knees spoil the fun even when "hidden" under pants...

The price on this figure is a real buzzkill. Hard to justify $300 when you’re not even getting a seamless body.

Exactly this. I can’t see what justifies that.

These DamToys RE figures are always super expensive solely because they are the officially licensed products.

So much I want parted out from this set, especially the head and that revolver (anyone know what that is btw? I'm guessing it's supposed to be some sort of PPC custom.)! Was considering buying but man, the price is brutal. Even as an official licensed product, it just seems high. Will probably just try to snatch up a few parts once this releases.

I'm not a gun expert, but this video compares the game guns to real life guns so it should give you an idea.
