295 Yankee dollars shipped and they can’t even give us the full color decal on the back of her jacket.  Or is it supposed to be that way in this version.

Apparently, this is just an alternate Version of the one shown a couple of days ago. The head looks the same as do a lot of the accessories.

I stand corrected. The jacket is character/game accurate. I must have been thinking of an earlier version with the full color emblem on the back of the jacket.

Probably not for long. Aren't there as many Claire's as Jills by now? And doesn't Ada Wong fit somewhere in there -- I know there were several of those some time ago. I suppose we are forgetting Ciri, too, but from another franchise.

I received my invoice from Giantoy overnight. 265 Yankee Dollars. Yikes. Part of me wants to cancel, but she does look really good, and I already have her partner Chris.

I can’t believe I was buying these figures right and left back in 2021. This will only be my second 2023 purchase, and if I buy more than five the entire year, I’ll be surprised.

Received my invoice as well. Some in hand pics from BBICN (jacket looks over-sized).

Yeah, that jacket is way too big for her.   It looks like it belonged to an ex-boyfriend.  Everything else looks good to me.   I was on the fence as t whether or not I was going to leave the jacket on anyway.  I thought she looked really good in the prototype pics without it, and as a primarily1/12 collector, I’m used to exposed joints, so that doesn’t bother me.

Ewwww that jacket is a big fail... Quite sad since the rest looks very good, the usual DAM quality.

That’s some damn good futzing. I’m not sure I would have thought twice about the jacket if I had only seen that last set of pictures.

I watched a video on YouTube recently that showed the figure as it really looks, and the biggest issue was the red jacket, as it looks poorly sized / ill fitting, and no where near as fitting as the images in the OP suggest. All in all, avoid this figure at all costs.

Well, if it’s just the jacket, which is unfortunate, I can live without it.

This figure is being eviscerated on BBICN. Much anger towards the jacket and head sculpt, apparently after being much delayed as well.

What are everyone's thoughts on them switching to leather and which is probably causing the oversized fit of the jacket. On one hand I've seen that they probably could have gotten better craftsmen to thin out the leather, but on the other hand, that would have probably cost more. They could have also went with pleather which has the possibility of degrading faster in certain climates. Tough one, although Damtoys tends to be on the pricier range probably due to lower runs than hot toys. Always an interesting situation. I think without the jacket she looks pretty good aside from visible joints, but that was in the promo pics so not really a complaint.

I don’t have a problem with them using leather; however, it’s clear they didn’t make it thin enough to work better. It’s really only one nit that I can see. As far as the people on BBICN complaining … color me surprised. Those people bitch about almost everything.
