She's coming along nicely! Amazing how her legs look. Maybe it's the one angle, at which the huge upper legs don't bug me. Or maybe it was another sneaky adjustment to the model??

I'm looking forward to seeing her all geared up. Photos in the snow would be great!!

In the future i will take more shots from different angles. I'm none too bothered by the leg thigh size. This particualr body with the larger bust and tan option would be ideal for a Street Fighter - Chun Li kitbash

The snowspeeder luke base comes with a white mound of snow that you can add to their hexagon base.

I like how she is coming along, now that you have the basic clothing on her. I remember I featured some sixth-scale skis somewhere (in an addendum to the Click N' Play thread -- you can get them either ordering the set or buying them loose), they could be painted appropriately for your figure.

The ski's and poles are already on their way, as i won an auction on ebay some days ago
..i have a feeling the heeled boots might not fit. I will give them a try. Failing that, i will add the ski's to the base, which i have yet to create.

Very nice, a snow hunter should be a cool (no pun intended) figure to put together, specially since I haven't seen that many white items in recent years.

The hat arrived yesterday. To be honest, i am disappointed.
Along the top edge of the lower rim the white fabric looks yellow nicotine colored.
The whiteness of the rest of the fabric fails to look as white as it should (not as white as the sellers photo)
The seller has offered the option of a partial refund or a discount on another item.
There is no point in returning the item, as it shipped from China. No big loss.

I might bleech the hat, just to see what happens to the fabric.

They say things happen for a reason. I have since found a better white hat

Using bleech, i managed to whiten the hat and remove the yellow nicotine colored area. Who knows, i might still use this hat. It depends on how the other hat looks?
Using white paint, i painted the frames of the glasses. I also added 2x horizonal white areas to the lenses of the glasses, so that only a single strip of yellow tinted lens can be seen.

Nice job with the hat and glasses.

Nice job, Shaun. The hat is much improved. Really looking forward to how the whole thing turns out.

I updated the ebay seller (gb_toys_store) and mentioned i had fixed the hat and did not require a partial refund.
I left positive feedback all the same, as they have other items that might come in handy in the future?

The white belt arrived today. Once fitted, i will probably cut it down in size. The silver buckle is made from metal.
The belt will probably not be visible on the figure since the jacket is closed. Atleast it will serve the purpose of holding up the leg holster, once the leg holster arrives.

Xmas shipping slowing everything down. I hope the white gloved hands arrive tomorrow

The black on the nose: there is a slight chance it might stain the nose; on the other hand painting it might be impermanent, as the paint might rub off because of the nose.

Weird thing about that nikotine strip, maybe it was just a very old item? But you fixed that.

Are the mods on the glasses for protection against snow blindness?

Ha-ha.. good photo. I guess that reason as well.

My original logic was to reduce the size of the exposed yellow lenses, adding the level of white camouflage.
Another idea i had was to add white lip-stick to the portrait. Since my skill level is too low, i did not want to mess up the portrait, as it looks nice.

while i managed to fix the hat, it is still of little use. The hat is so stretchy that it lifts off of the portrait because it refuses to grip to the real hair. I guess the hat was intended for sculpted hair portraits. I have an alternative plan in action, a fur hat!

A fur hat seems like the best choice in style, yeah. (Or a helmet, but she is probably protected by plot armor ). I think ice blue lips fitting the hair would also be cool.

Today the leg holster arrived from blackopstoys.com
I have to admit, it looks way darker than i expected it to be.
The image on the left shows the image from blackopstoys website.
The image on the right shows the image of the item i received.

I got in touch with blackoptoys, and they replied:

While it is not the light-grey holster i was searching for, i have to admit, it looks cool.
I think i will use it. I guess to some degree, it will break up the white and add a level of camouflage.

If you are thinking of ordering something from blackoptoys, remember, they like to lighten up their images, probably a bit too much.

Tonight i have been busy painting the pistol white. It made sense to keep the removable clip black.

I did consider a helmet painted white.

Oh man, I know you already have a hat, but if you could find one like this, that would be cool — sort of Bond Girl.

The fur hat i picked up off of ebay looks not too dissimilar to the hat in the image you posted.
It is maybe not as tall and has side pieces that hang down on the left and right side. It was the only white fur hat i managed to find in 1/6th scale.
The (Chinese) seller provided a tracking number two days ago.
I am guessing, what with Xmas causing delays, the hat will be be where within the next 2 to 3 weeks.

The Skis arrived today. Much time was spent fiddling with the straps to get them to work with the high-heel boots. Along with the pistol i set about painting the skis white (..as they were grey).

Tomorrow the paint should be 100% dry, and i can fit them to the figure

As luck would have it, the ski poles are silver and white with black handles. I think i will leave them the way thy are. The black part of the part that sticks into the snow, i might paint those white?

Maybe some sections of the poles have to be a darker color in case something happens and they need to be “found”…?

I figured that. A normal soul need's to locate their poles in situations when dropped.
A high end spy assassin type could probably cope without poles if need be ;D

Left pic: FIMO clay over plastic base.
Right pic: In the oven.. 130 degrees 30 minutes

I have no idea how this is going to work out.
Once cooled, the plan is to spray paint the base white.

The idea is/was to have a base similar to a Hot Toys base with a soft snowy organic shape to it.
There is a hint of iced-cake going on.

Update: The plastic base (under the FIMO) warped slightly, but did not melt. Pheeew!

Prior to making the base, i had no choice but to come up with a pose for the feet/ski position.
The photo above provided all the inspiration required.
