Nice prototype photos, wish the snake body was flexible too however.

I like it, a lot (more from a pop movie, Ray Harryhausen, kind of interest than any genuine Classical Greece connection).  

But I agree, the single and separate headsculpts thing that Stryker pointed out is kinda reprehensible.  Especially because I think Medusa is evidently a unique creature, so apart from wanting the versatility of swapping sculpts, there's no real reason whatsoever to get two of them -- no squad to make, no "army builder," no "two Medusas walk into a bar..."

I like it better than their usual stuff. Yes, it suffers from the cliche sexy pseudo-armor trend they have been investing in for ages, but in Medusa's case she is not pretending to be a Spartan warrior. So she's got an ancient pre-Goth pre-Cyberpunk taste in bras and accessories, but it is her eyes and her arrows that matter. I like that she has a whole, functional body, that goes into that snake-shaped candlebodyholder... And I like that they tell us what body it is (though I wish they used their smaller bodies more). All in all, I think it's pretty cool, without being completely ideal (a rubbery snake body that the underlying regular seamless body could help pose at the top end would have been cooler still).

While Medusa was a name of a specific character in Greek mythology, she was of Gorgon "species", and she wasn't the only one.
Apparently Medusa had two sisters: Stheno and Euryale, so the "walk into a bar scenario" is not out of question

Now, why only two - and not three - versions are announced...

Glad we are getting something different. This is a neat idea and clever execution.

I like this a lot , I have often wondered why she has not been done before . Probably too expensive....but I might .

The Medusas (correct plural is "Meduse") look very interesting, but I am really hoping for a TBLeague mermaid.

The product description actually says "S47", and yes, the S47 is a small bust body. Looks right to me.

These are growing fast on me.  Too bad they didn't include both heads in each package.

That S47 is a big girl and set in the snake tail she's likely 18" to 20" tall.  That would sure make an eye-catching display.

POPTOYS Ariel is calling me too, so I'm not sure if I'll go for this one as well.  Plus, I need a few more modern male warriors to keep my girls in line.  I've got one instructing a few of the girls at a shooting range now.

Received my invoice for Medusa, so will ship in a few days...

That was fast! I might try to grab a snake body and upper torso on the aftermarket. The kitbash potential is crazy for this release.

Unlike other companies, and very much the same as Exo-6, they put things up for PO that are already in the production stage.
