She looks nice. Especially the hands look very realistic.
I'm a bit confused that it lists "1 shoe 1 magnetbase".

Edit, I misread the releasedate, I thought it was may 2024, and thought "that's soon," but it's released may 2025. So that's not soon at all. I also found that she's over $300 at Ekiahobbies

that looks like a really nice figure to me!
a nice mix of trad and new, with a nice head.
i find the mini doll of Yayoi Kusama quite amusing.
seems a little steep for what you get but i guess that depends on the quality of the tailoring?
but what do i know absolutely EVERYTHING has sky rocketed in price

Looks traditional.. the headphones fail to fit, to me atleast.
The hands look realistic, which is always a good thing.

Cute rarely works on me, but this does. I like it a lot. And yes, Shaun's right about the headphones seeming a little out of place, but that might have been the point.

This is a nicely tailored figure! But, overall, nothing too spectacular. I may try to grab that kimono; it's pretty!

I guess so. The funky big boots fit with the headphones theme, traditional meets modern.
If i own this figure, i would leave the headphones in the box.

And I wouldn't blame you for it.

The figure looks great, and that head sculpt is gorgeous. I'm disappointed, however, with how they cheeped out on the boots: solid plastic instead of leather with real shoe laces... Lame. The head and hands are what I'd like from this set most of all.

She's cute! I really like her and she would go well with the Mr Z city girls!

I figured out that the images that are linked from offsite don't show up for me, unless I view one of them directly (grabbing the url of the image and pasting it into the address bar). My mac performs some kind of security check. After that the image and subsequently all others upon page refresh show up.

That is correct. I don't know why it has happened, but the links worked originally. It is, by the way, the reason I try to keep a couple of photos in servimg.

I want her a lot because, as others pointed out, she’s very cute. The headphones don’t bother me as this kind of style is becoming more of a thing, mixing the modern with traditional.

The price kinda blows, but she’s not to be released for quite some time, so that may work out for me.

Same for me. It takes a lot of time to download all the images to your hard drive and then load them via servimg, which is how I do it to avoid the possibility of the links not working in the future (or having hackers get thru the links).

Just to note, today all the images display, and the formatting has not been changed since the original post. Sometimes the hosting website works in mysterious ways.

I don't know if any of you POed this figure, but it seems to be confirmed that Shumi Artworks went into bankruptcy.
This has been rumored for some time on the BBICN forum, and it seems to be confirmed. The figurine will therefore not be produced. It would be wise for those who ordered it to ask for a refund.

Wow! That’s too bad. I didn’t order this, but sorry to hear for anyone looking forward to her.

This "Paripi Yui" figure will be released by JND STUDIOS. I heard that JND got some projects from Shumi. Just waiting for new info about this!  

Wow that’s good news. I’m glad she’ll still be made so I can still maybe try and track down this head someday…

Yes, there will be a kind of notification about P.O. from JND.
I heard they will make even more advanced Yui than the older one with a variety of worldview.
We just need to stay tuned to the JND official website!!
