Dual Punisher Builds, TV & War Machine Versions WIP. Sniper Rifle Case Made. 3RD Punisher Figure Started.

Cheers! Painted now, might be too brown under the lights, when I put him next to my other four scratch built Punishers I'll see if that sticks out as they all have black hair. Finished faffing with the skull and concentrated on giving him wrist pegs, hands and a neck that works; odd one that, the normal necks disappear into this body, a G3 I think? So I had to make a custom job that works great but has that ugly line, should be hidden by the jacket collar later. The hands are curing over night with silicone inside the peg holes as they are too big for the posts but all match each other (and his flesh) colour and style wise with the variety of grips I want for his weapons etc.. Weapons were sorted out today too, he's pictured with half of them: a Beretta M92, a Colt 1911 TAC, a Heckler & Koch MP7 and a large modern sawback clip point jungle knife. I'm going to have his face beaten up in that skull like way he gets in the end of season 1, bloody his knuckles and a bit of spatter here and there.

He looks good. I don’t think it looks too brown at all (the hair).

I'm afraid I've made him a lot less attractive now!

I've used the look he had after that really gruesome hand to hand fight before he got arrested which left him with injuries that made his face look like a skull (similar to how they had Dolph Lundgren portray The Punisher with stubble, grease and sleepless bags under his eyes and lighting in the sewers). Jon also had his fists busted up and his opponent's blood all up his arms, I can hide the arms with his jacket then use his scabbed over hands that I've painted too for other poses. I've broken up the black a bit by giving him some olive drab slings and a harness with holster since this version of the character is ex military not law enforcement. I've also painted all his weapons lightly weathering the metal parts (well that would be metal on the real thing) and matte blacking the fibre reinforced polymer parts or Micarta. I need to finish his sniper rifle bag (that I've nicked from a larger one which I'll fix too) for his EDM Arms Windrunner anti-material rifle (it comes in .50 BMG, Cheytac .408 or .338 Lapua) and weather his boots. I've taken minor liberties with the damage to his face to make it a little more skull like by giving him vertical split lips to look like teeth and a bloody nose which adds to the grinning and nose-less skull look. Weapons are drying.

Yes, I like how you evoked the skull image in the battle damage in his face.

Some blood came from his nose, yes...but the rest...well you should see the other guys! The bloody knuckles are great too. But I don't think you should go too far with the weathering on the guns, as I think he maintains them very well. But some blood on the grips and butts won't hurt I guess. (At least not the guns)

Very impressive. I would not have gone that far, but I think it works very well for your intended purposes.

Certainly not in the Netflix series! I can't believe f***ing Disney have cancelled it and all other Marvel series due to their 'platform' idea .

I've just given them a worn in look as he does get them used from the Turk, he was first sold a .22 rimfire in pink! It's all the Turk had!

It's not for everyone but I was after a very specific look that portrays the grittiness of the Netflix episodes and the homage they did to the comic books too.

Here's a before any mods and after, it's hard to tell the different shape of the hair in this pic but trust me it looked like a loaf of bread from any other angle before!

I've finished the sniper rifle case that took a lot of sewing and a stupid amount of careful cutting of foam as I couldn't find any thin enough in my bag of foam. I added the netting and pouches, handles, strap etc.. rifle fits nicely inside once disassembled (they are made to do this, I have a 1:1 full CNC'd metal airsoft version that fits in a briefcase ). I also have started a 3rd Punisher figure, I came across a part I'd forgotten about last night, a white and black modern gas mask and thought if I combine this with the leather trench coat and a backpack Mini gun I'll have a pretty cool looking Punisher character! I'm calling him The Punisher in Exterminator Mode! .

Thanks MA! Go for it! This is sort of a Thomas Jane version as I'm using the head and coat that came with the 12" Marvel Legend figure many years ago but I have actually previously made movie accurate Thomas Jane, Dolph Lundgren and Ray Stevens Punisher figures pictured below with a link to the thread on OSW. I will have to look into the Avengers Confidential Punisher as I can't remember that one!

Bumbling along with this whimsical build.. not sure what to do about skulls yet but I'll go for a Panzercop tubed gas mask just because I like them. Put together a H&K MK3 SOCOM pistol for him and there's a Ruger or S&W large calibre, long barrelled revolver too, could be a Dan Wesson, modding holsters for them, he has an AR15 too. I'll attach a grenade launcher to the bottom of the Mini gun which I need to make. The Thomas Jane hs is too big for the balaclavas.

Looks like he is coming together nicely, too.

Pretty cool additions. Like all the holsters you've made.

Thank you very much guys! To be honest I'm bored rigid with this third build, I think 2 is enough for back to back same type of character builds (3 for Dwarves) as this happened to me on the 3rd Predator build from the latest movie, that's still in a bag waiting to be finished... I think this guy might be joining him. I did some work and admittedly my week has been kind of thrown out of whack which prevented working on him but I'm just not enjoying it right now. There's another build I've been wanting to do for over 10 years but something always popped up, usually a new movie where I just had to make characters from it etc.. I really want to build a cross between an Iron Man and JIM/WASP/ADS deep water diving suit as an actual Iron Man suit for going in the Mariana Trench and the Challenger Deep, think of the bad guy in 'For Your Eyes Only' and the suits in 'The Abyss'.
Anyway did some mask work for this project of the 3rd Punisher.

I've been there, you can sometimes have too much of a good thing. What you thought would be a fun build goes on longer than you wanted it to. I guess you just have to call time and do something you can ace and then come back to the other project when you feel you can.

I'll be spoilt for choice when I move and get set up again
