Glad to hear you finally received the hands. That’s an interesting poster — very Soviet style.

Funny enough I ordered these gloves too (in September 2020) and they have just arrived these days... fortunately I did not need them for a particular project. Just wanted them for the storage
Stryker2011 wrote:They work great. I think the hands must specifically have been designed for TBL bodies — I had zero issues putting them on my Zatanna figure — they fit like a glove (pun intended).
Ovy wrote:Nice, welcome to the club of gloved VS hand owners! They did deliver after all and yes they are great for the little metal joints.
I am sure your blood effect will turn out great. Someone used a similar technique for a werewolf here once, if I remember correctly.
Btw, do you know Kairo/Pulse by Kiyoshi Kurosawa?
GubernatorFan wrote:I was not sure how this whole blood drip thing was going to work out, but I have got to say I am impressed. I know it did not work quite as you wanted, but still pretty good.
Stryker2011 wrote:The blood effect looks pretty good already.
Stryker2011 wrote:That looks really good. Great effect.
Stryker2011 wrote:I would consider using thin vinyl (if you can find some that is not shiny) for the apron, as it will scrunch better at the straps -- or cinch in.

I didn't notice the issue with the apron until you mentioned it. But if it's truly bothering you, rather than remake it (though of course that is a solution, too), you could try to pull the apron tighter using some other means... like with a string or some thin ribbon or something, and then cover that up with the beige straps so it's not visible underneath.

Thanks.
Given every other aspect is amounts to 'inspired by' without being 100% accurate, i will leave the apron as is. In some ways, the thick rubber apron has it's own qualities, as they are probably uncomfortable to wear, and that's what i see when i look at the figure.
..sounds like i am making excuses? :lol@
