Lol, that was so funny. Awesome work!

That said, I guess now I know why Hot Toys keeps releasing Storm Troopers. Wink

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it. But I'm a little confused... Why does HT keep releasing Stormtroopers?

For Stormtrooper parties like yours. Wink

Albeit yours are customs?

Oh. Well, I do probably buy more stromtroopers (in any form) than most other collectors (though one never knows how many more determined and/or richer collectors there are out there). Some of my stormtroopers are Hot Toys sets (particularly Rogue One and Return of the Jedi), some are "reconstituted" (where I have bought some of the parted-out pieces and put them together), some are not Hot Toys at all -- there are a bunch of sixth-scale Bandai model kits with helmeted heads from the cheap but under-articulated Hasbro Interactech stormtroopers (since the Bandai helmets were oversized and weird), and even as a hybrid these were much more affordable than HT.

My wet dream (from a HT promotional display) --

Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it. And I always try to re-channel the absurdity of Star Wars into something slightly less absurd. Smile

Man, Leia is a petulant daughter, but Vader is an awful father and boss (or best boss ever I guess, considering the outcome)! I love the details, like the rifle centerfold in Stormtrooper Monthly, or Leia wrapped in the imperial flag. Or is that bedding? I somehow like the idea of the imperial logo on everything at the death star. Sheets, blankets, towels. Like they've just completely committed to the branding.

Something makes me think you want to be an imperial naval guard (AKA Death Star Trooper). Smile Glad you liked it. The details are meant to be goofy indeed. I will have to bring back the Stormtrooper Fashions magazine if you like silly centerfolds. Smile And yes, that was the imperial flag. Well, technically it was a custom imperial flag I picked up on eBay (there are two aluminum rods that fit at the ends so it hangs down straight), but here it was supposed to be a blanket with the "brand" on it. So just as you thought!

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it and hope it is informative. A note on the Leia head in this particular thread -- being the "classic buns Leia," it looks larger than it actually is, due to the hairstyle. Moreover, many of the shots here (especially the ones with the S25B body) are from slightly overhead. In other words, the head really is more appropriately proportioned for this body (which is about right for Carrie Fisher -- see the Action Figures Height thread) than might be apparent here.

LOL, GF. This storyline may be silly indeed, but it makes excellent use of your awesome assemblage of Death Star characters. And I think I already said so on his introduction post, but Mr. Cavill is quite the handsome Death Star Trooper. Thanks for the Imperial eye candy. :'D

Thank you very much, Sky! I'm glad you found it funny. And you are very welcome for the imperial eye candy. Should I change my screen name to the Candymaker? Just kidding... I'm stuck with this one... oh well... Smile

Hmmm... Bodice Ripper sounds a little violent, out of spirit for our age. But I will interpret it as a sign of appreciating the underlying romantic quality of my art. Smile

Have you forgotten your stint as a 1/6 scale romance novelist?? (Another term for a romance novel is a 'bodice ripper' Razz )

Ha! Never knew they are called that too. It's been so long, I've almost forgotten. Almost. Fireman Chad is supposed to make a reappearance. But for being kind enough to remember him, you get this mini preview:

The update, when it happens will go in the old thread:

I'm very glad. I was actually going for that, even though I haven't even watched Outlander. Speaking of British associations, one of those British hillside white horses is off to the left, but cropped out.

Oh, that's a shame. Would have been nice to have it in the picture, I think.

Aw awesome! There is one of those here in Yorkshire, and fittingly enough, it's where my husband took me on our first date. :'D

Maybe I'll try to remember that for the real thing. It kinda depends on where the road surface is, unless I cut off the lower part(s) of the figure(s).

Awww... I've probably said it before, and will probably say it again, but you seem to have the very best of husbands. I'm just a little disappointed that only one of the horses (Uffington?) is medieval -- I found this out when I was trying to figure out which one was the one in my photo.
