Faithless Angels

Ever since redesigning the Ammo Arms, I have had an idea at the back of my mind of making a rock band. This was further fueled when I saw reverendspooky's punk band  

I decided that the band will be made up of four members, two females and two males. This will probably be my first venture into the male phicen figures. The band will be a rock band. So far I have created the drummer, Jasmine Lee-Bonham (S17b  and a VS head) , and the singer/rhythm guitarist, Katrina Santos (S23b and a Kimi 004 head).

Here's what the band looks like so far!








Had a spare hour earlier, so I made their first album cover, and made up some song titles for them.

Not a big fan of the Babe figures as you know Dal , but your band seems to be shaping up nicely , and am looking forward to seeing your Drummer . I love the album cover , very imaginative .

Cheers chip! as you know I will try and start the males at some point, I am just hoping they turn out well . Pleased you liked the album cover, I wanted something simple to start them off

hey thanks skywalkersaga! I also think that too, pleased you liked the album cover too!

Great posing here! The figs are looking very natural and fluid in their stances and movements.

Nice choice of face sculpts. They convey "attitude" without being overly hostile (or overtly trampy).

Did you add the pins to the leather jacket?

Hell yes!!! Looking fantastic. I like Jasmine's headsculpt especially and don't think I've seen before. Katrina looks absolutely killer on stage, and as I mentioned on insta, I love the cigarettes tucked into her shirt. And the carpeted stage is a perfect detail! It feels like a million clubs I've been in, and is probably just soaked in beer. Ah, that brings back memories...

, thanks Dave! I was hoping to do a lot more but my camera batter went flat . Yeah, the pins to the jacket are novelty stud type ear rings? I pushed them through the jacket, then cut off the rest of the unwanted pin

Thanks Rev! the Jasmine sculpt is a vs one, it's actually called Jasmine too. It is slightly undersized, but looks okay on an S17b, nice colour match too. Kat turned out a lot better than I expected, I didn't think I would have al the bits I needed? well, I had to tuck her cigarettes somewhere, after all, when she takes her jacket off, she doesn't have a lot of places to keep them . Really pleased you spotted it. The flooring of the stage floor is actually textured wallpaper, I used it on the walls too, but I agree, it does make a nice carpet too.
lol! yeah, I bet it soaked in beer too . Still need a few bits to finish off the stage area, but getting there slowly.
oh, and thanks again for inspiring me to finally put my band together! maybe one day they will be n the same bill as your band too?

NICE! I like the two ladies. And I do remember that punk band inspiring me much the same way. Only I didn't follow through.

Thank you! I really liked reverandspooky's band they were awesome! I really must try and track down more of your threads to see more of your work

Oh, these guys will be more along the lines of Pretty Reckless and Pop Evil. A old fashioned Rock style band .

Great to hear and see that the Reverend inspired you to go through with it. I noticed your lighting style has lots of shadows in it, works perfect for this setting.

Yeah! his band really gave me the inspiration to final start the band, I have been truly blown away by his posts and figures!
Hey, thanks on the lighting comment, I wanted to try and create that darkened atmosphere you get at a gig!

Cheers! I started to put it together quite a while back, it's just the two guys I am sort of now, but I am looking forward to putting them together

So the Faithless Angels had a change of plan, (well, I did after a chat with reverandspooky!   ) they are now an all girl rock band! I have now made the bass player and lead guitarist, here they are,

Faithless Angels first gig! - "The Fallen Ones" Tour!

These ladies are awesome. Love the posing and camera angles. Need to see more of your drummer! It would be great if someone (anyone) would make hands appropriate for playing guitar (male and female) — or any instruments for that matter. I’d also like to see bigger drum kits (ie, more drums, cymbals, etc.) in 1/6th — the ones they make today are feared more toward Jazz or pre-to-mid 60s rock drummers. My own personal Kit only has 6 drums and 3 cymbals, and even that feels limiting sometimes — especially for Hard Rock and modern Pop.

Excellent work on the figures and the photography. And still loving every glimpse of the diorama.
