I manipulated so many things in the photo using Pic Retouch and Airbrush, stray hairs, foot size, shadows (I need to buy another light) and didn't do the best job although I tried.  I guess unless you have the inclination and patience to learn how to use the real Photoshop you have to make do with lesser apps lol! Thanks for not noticing...

Cool! The cowgirl fig looks as good as the promo pics! That doesn't happen very often anymore!

Too bad these things always sell out long before they are released. I suspect in this case they could have sold a lot more of them once the in-hand images began to emerge.

No she was an accessory kit, I pre ordered it in august 21, was a long way^^

Can't you still get the cowgirl on ebay? GianToy is not the only place to purchase it, I would think....?

Pre-ordered October 2022, the Hot Toys BTTF Doc Brown Deluxe figure order was fulfilled relatively quickly and arrived today. Nowhere near the wait of my Batman Forever figures, one of which (is also scheduled to be delivered this week) was preordered February 2021.





Might be awhile before I fully unbox him just due to all of his accessories and not having an adequate display area right now.

WAR STORY WS-015 Empire Commando figure arrived yesterday:


As with so many recent releases, the promotional artwork, and the box artwork, is more impressive than the actual figure.

I find it interesting that the front of the box itself states, in a banner across the bottom: "Prototype Shown - Actual Product May Be Slightly Different."

Apparently they print up the packaging before they've even made the figure.

I did a little mini shoot soon after he arrived this evening… I must say this figure is way better in hand than I would have thought based on prototype images. Some folks were giving hefty sad comments on the suit material folding at the joints, but I intend to always display him in a museum pose so that’s not a concern with me. Hot Toys absolutely killed this figure! 10 of 10

He looks pretty cool. The biggest gripes I’ve heard have been about the cape material.

This week, via eBay, I received a new-to-me-but-not-new 1/6 scale Jeep.

In 2005 21st Century released a version of their Willys Jeep based on the movie Sahara, which was in turn based on a Clive Cussler novel.

The Jeep was the same as the military models, but featured a non-military weathered paint scheme. The original set included two action figures based on characters from the movie, which unfortunately were not included in this purchase. I've been looking for the "Hawaiian shirt" worn by one of the 21st Century Sahara figures, which is how I ran across this listing on eBay.

I recently spotted the incomplete "Sahara" Jeep on eBay and added it to my watch list. When the seller sent me an offer for a considerably discounted price, I couldn't let it get away and had to scrape up the money despite the sorely depleted state of my "hobby funds."

This example is missing parts of the seats and most of the accessories and details that "stick out," like lights and antennas, but the basics are there, including wheels, windshield frame, steering wheel, and shift levers.

Please pardon the non-scale figs in the pics. The "big girls" couldn't resist taking the Jeep for a spin when it arrived. After a bit of refurb the rig will join my 1/6-scale motorpool as a well-worn but still serviceable utility vehicle.
