Doesn't the head seem a little larger in scale than the body? Maybe Superduck and other heads might be gigantic for that. I wonder how i8Toys heads would look on it since those seem to be smaller in scale as well.

I know it’s a typo but that’s just hilarious to me.

I preordered the 50b. Should be an interesting experience. I have a project that it could work for that is an anime character so why not?

Another body type I don't need. Keep waiting for the plump, muscular body.

Considering it's an anime body, it kinda makes sense that the head is a bit large.

LOL. I know some would like them, but I've got to agree with the eye-rollers above. I almost got excited when I saw these pop up, but then they lost me at "tall" and lost me even more at "anime." Looks like my New Year's resolution of spending less might have a chance of coming relatively true...
By the way, is the bikini really free, or is it just another thing factored in into the cost?

Awwww, da**.... bugger! Why another freakin anime body?? Though I do think it looks better than the S37A/S38B, so I guess that's the answer.

But that head is gorgeous and it is NOT included??? Why stop now?? Finally a pretty head that would fit the smaller pegs and they don't include it... WITH head I would have ordered the S51B right away.

Another Anime Body! I can't really tell the differences though, but definitely looks very tall in the pictures. I'd like them to do some realistic bodies again though. wonder if this was for like the bayonetta figure (which i do have on PO heh)

Agree about the head sculpt. It’s very nice. To not include it is stupid, and will probably cost them sales.

Me too!  Even for anime' there's not enough "meat" on their bones for my tastes.  S22/23 and S42/43 are my favorites, along with S46/47, and those first two are really trim (scale 22" - 24" waists and 32" - 36" hips).  These new anime' bodies have like a 19.4" waist and 31" hips.

The head isn't horrible I suppose, but it's out of proportion (if proportion even 'matters' with this kind of body type) EDIT: oh, but they aren't even including it.

The body itself is little different to the other Anime bodies on their conveyor belt to my eyes, what a disappointing offering to mark The Big 5-0 with.

Those of us who want to see an official release of the Viking Woman body (yeah I mentioned it   ) are just being trolled now, aren't we?

Oh well, on the bright side it's £50 extra towards my spiralling energy bills.

Next one had better be VW or a new and improved muscle body. Lean, plump, anything, so long as it's not another one of these.

Yes, it seems that even Chinese customers would prefer anatomically correct body types.

Meh. It just looks like the other anime bodies they already did (and I didn't want).
Nothing wrong with having anime options, but there are plenty already, and this doesn't look different enough to warrant the effort.

Personally I would love to see more realistic (and smaller framed) athletic bodies, with both smaller and larger busts.
(The smaller would really suit my androgynous Street punk bashes, and the larger for retro amazon/comic book type characters.
Some broader skin tone options would be nice too.

I also don't understand why tbl don't diversify their existing range. For example, S23 with and without ankle seams. With/without genital detail. With/without nipple detail.
Maybe each existing body shape, but with small/med/large chest options?
I think buyers would probably prefer options on existing bodies, as opposed to tiny tweaks on the same manga body theme. (Or worse, another cherub-faced "sci-fi" devil spy girl, in a plastic bikini for $200.)

And while on the subject of S23, bring back the S23 without wonky nipples and no kardashian a**! I VASTLY prefer the old S23 design. A real warrior/athlete physique, without stupid "juicy" sexualisation.

That does look like a YM head now you mention it.

I think what bugs me most of all about this is that it's TBL's 50th model (in terms of serial number if not actual production type) and they could have -should have- done something special for it.

But quite clearly, they haven't.

And this isn't even due until March, and so the likelihood of something better/different turning up as their next release before July is slimmer than this thing's waist.

Like most others, I'm not really interested in this type of anime body. Actually, the most striking thing here was the short-haired head sculpt. Too bad that it's not even made by TBleague.

I wish there'll be a body shape in between of the 22 & 24.
