When it comes to these types of threads (head-sculpt, body etc) i wish 2 threads were created, one thread for male, and one thread for female.

It would be good, if the OP could be updated to feature a single long (horizontal) image showing every body in a line up, face on, with the addtion of 2 additional images showing line up's that show back shot and side shot.
I'm not sure how much of this can be done, practically.
I agree that, ideally, side and back views of the bodies would be useful. Perhaps one day.
For organizational purposes, the male and female bodies are already split up into separate posts.
A single long horizontal image of every body in a line up is problematic for two reasons:
1. I don't own every single body (and my invitation for comparable images for inclusion of additional bodies I don't own has been ignored).
2. New bodies come out all the time, so any such image would be out of date and difficult to replace/add on to.

In partial response to your points, I have added Giantoy's line-up images (which were already linked) at the end of the relevant bodies posts, but both (especially the female bodies one) are already outdated.

I am not familiar with Giantoy. I will have to look into those.

In the OP (which is the post everyone clicking on this thread will see 1st)
It would be good if a list featuring all product codes could appear below each heading. For example:

Part I: Male Bodies
TBLeague / Phicen M30 - (small description + link)
TBLeague / Phicen M31 - (small description + link)
TBLeague / Phicen M32 - (small description + link)
etc.

Part II: Female Bodies
TBLeague / Phicen S28A - (small description + link)
TBLeague / Phicen S29B - (small description + link)
TBLeague / Phicen S39A - (small description + link)
etc.

Any figures you do not have images of could feature a 'TO FOLLOW' placement image.
Smile

On a side-note, what head sculpt is this?

Oh, if you are not familiar with GianToy, you should be -- they tend to have some of the best prices for tbleague bodies.

The headsculpt on the body you asked about is from this figure:

GianToy is a shop - Doh!
My go-to thoughts thought it was a company offering their own take on the 1/6 scale body, similar to what 'V' 'VERYCOOL' offer.

(headsculpt) i check the link. I have seen that page before. For some reason picture posted here look a little different to the official proto photo's. Great looking head sculpt.

Shaun, do you mean in the Table of Contents?

And Sky is right about the head. It also appears, I think, among the heads pictured in the Head Sculpt catalog.

Yes, table of contents. The list would include all model numbers, even if you yourself did not own the figure. It is always good to know what is happening out their in the world of TBLeague.

The list does include every model whether or not I have a photo of it.

I was thinking of a list in the 1st post without images, a list with links, as it could work as a quick go to, rather than having to scroll down to follow up posts, some of which contain images that bulk things out.

The links from the Table of Contents to specific bodies is a nice idea but unfortunately not doable at this point -- links work only from one post to another, and the bodies are listed together in category posts (female bodies; male bodies). The technical limitations of the forum don't allow a revision of the format (we can't break up one post into several, interposing them at the specific points they have to be in). So I can add a list without images in the TOC, but I can't have the items linking to the specific thing, other than the respective posts containing them among others. But would that be helpful?

I understand the technical limitations of the forum. A list without links is fine. I figure it would be more helpful.

When i 1st looked at this thread, it felt like there was too much going on, to many areas being covered. It might have made sense to break all the items mentioned in the first post into different threads. That is probably do-able with this forum and would not cause too much work, as you appear to have done most of the work already.

It really can go either way. One problem is that information gets too scattered, and having all the TBleague stuff in a single thread was meant to address that.

ukshaun -- there's a line-up photo of female tbleague bodies S01 to S38A on GianToy's website:

TBLeague / Phicen Seamless Bodies with Steel Skeleton Catalog (updated continually) - Page 5 7a89d1c4b5ac10d6f47c3bbfbc50e49e

Some of the most recent models are not included, but I presume they will eventually update the image.

Do yo guys know if the new body (the S52/S53) is the same as the S42/S43 but with detachable feet? Or is a new sculpt… looking at the preorder pics I can se any difference (the specs say the means are a bit different, but the look the same to me).

skywalkersaga

skywalkersaga
I don't think anyone can know 100% for sure until the new body is released and side-by-side in-hand comparisons can be made. But right now it seems like it's the closest body with detachable feet to that one.

Do you remember the materials and process you used for the one in green shorts? Its my exact skin color and these dolls are a bit too expensive for me to get experimental with.

Hi.
Here is the exact link to the introduction of this custom:
https://onesixthfigures.forumotion.com/t260-painting-seamless-bodies-nsfw#8367

It was Staedtler oil pastels, more specifically Van Dyke Brown, on a TBLeague M30 body (which, at least originally, had a greyer skin tone than subsequent models -- I don't know if this has changed), and using a couple of different Mike Tyson heads from eBay. The green shorts were from one of the football/soccer Beckham sets.

You can scroll back a few posts from the linked one to see the full initial discussion of the technique as first introduced by Ephiane, although it was also summarized here on the catalog page and in the linked post itself.

You can see more shots of this body here:
https://onesixthfigures.forumotion.com/t260p45-painting-seamless-bodies-nsfw#8563

and here:
https://onesixthfigures.forumotion.com/t260p45-painting-seamless-bodies-nsfw#9166

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have follow up questions and good luck.

To help add to this, I've been wanting to do this for awhile...

TBLeague / Phicen Seamless Bodies with Steel Skeleton Catalog (updated continually) - Page 5 Tbleague-s

I've created this updated version (up to 2023's 52/53 body) utilizing newer-released individual product photos, all pulled from Giantoy. Like their original comparison photo, all skin tones displayed are pale and most suntan models are a one number difference, while some of the newer releases are available in either attached or detachable feet. In those instances, I chose to display images with detachable feet.

Hope this helps...

Thank you for putting this together, Stephen! I will see if I can duplicate it in the reference part of the thread.

Not a problem! Like I said it’s something that I’ve wanted to do for myself for quite some time now. If it’s easier for you to link the file I created, feel free. I know I did have to do some light editing when I pulled the newer body individual photos (such as removing the Giantoy “legend” from some of them and moving the ruler closer to the body for keeping the overall width down) so if you’d like the version without the numbers and yellow dots added, PM me and I can provide that.

Stryker2012 wrote:Thanks for doing that. Awesome.

Again, it was no problem! Since I always meant to create an updated one, why not share it with the community!?

Do not put them in boiling water or you will end up with more indentations, this time not from clothing. Not sure there is a definite fix, other than removing the constricting items, maybe massaging the TPE material to try to get it to fill out, and letting it be for a good while.

Adding my huge appreciation for the time, effort, photos and detail under this post - just ordered my first body Very Happy and this was the most helpful resource by far to compare sizing and proportions, especially the photo line-ups with several different models from different angles. Amazing stuff!

Thank you for the kind words (and I add my thanks to others who have contributed here). Glad it is useful and I hope you like your first body of this type. If you're new to it, it might be a little while before you get used to it, but there is no big mystery. And if you get addicted, don't blame us. Smile
You inspired me to finally add the newest body, S52A/S53A to the catalog and upload a photo.

Updated my long-form post to include the s52a (finally arrived in the mail) and some notes on it. Still stupid tall, but it has a caveat that I think helps with that a lot. I also posted a comparison to the Worldbox AT201 since that one is very popular right now. The s52a is probably my third favorite body overall.
