Thank you! I like that shot too. But my favorite from that shoot is Allison climbing into her bed (took me 15 minutes to bend her so that she was balancing and it still looked realistic).

Actually I don't think there were a lot of bacteria there. It was running water and came straight from the ground. You can't get much fresher water than that.

On their way back they were discussing their cars.
"Mine is the fastest," Allison stated.
"I'm sure it is," Lexi said.
"Maybe you should do a race in your cars?" Allison suggested. "I wonder which is quicker."
"I'm sure Bernadette's sportscar is a lot quicker than mine."
"But your car has four wheel drive and is maybe more agile," Bernadette replied
"Yes, it could be an exciting race," Allison said with her usual enthusiasm, "if you first have to go around the kitchen table, then through the pillars in the center of the room, go around the coffeetable and finish in the kitchen. It's a combination of speed and agility."
"We could do that, sounds like fun," Lexi said.
"Cool! I can be the referee. I can use Bernadette's gun to give the start signal!"
"Yes, you can use my gun. But you must be careful not to shoot anything."
"I'm not sure that's a good idea," Lexi sounded a bit doubtful.
"Don't worry, I'll be careful."
And so Allison gave the starting signal. *bang*



*BANG*
"Holy (censored)! What was that!"
Yeah. Allison with a gun, that was not going to end well. At least she didn't shoot anyone.



Meanwhile Bernadette and Lexi had gotten away and Bernadette took the lead.



She had a healthy margin when she reached the kitchentable, but she overshot the turn.



She slammed the brakes and made a half spin, while Lexi turned through the corner quicker and took the lead.



"Whoah, you totally crashed into me there!" Lexi shouted.



But it looks like there was no damage done.



They went side by side through the turn, but Lexi has the inside line.



They're side by side going to the pillars.

While Lexi and Bernadette were racing, Allison recovered from the shock.
"Phew, with all that glass flying around, I'm lucky I wasn't hurt."



"Who thought it was a good idea to put a lamp up there?"



She hadn't followed the race, and didn't notice that Lexi didn't give Bernadette any room at the pillars.



"I was in front, so I have the right to the line. Look, you push me to the Pillar."
"Hey, don't drive into me again!"


Unfortunately for her, Bernadette again missed her braking point.



Lexi took the lead again



Lexi navigated around the coffeetable.



But Bernadette just went full throttle underneath it.



So she came out ahead.



But she carried to much speed and Lexi made a tighter turn.



When they crossed the finishline they both shouted "I won!"

Exciting stuff!

You certainly deserve credit for this photo - it brought a smile to my face when I first saw it.  It captures the essence of someone thinking "I don't care about the world, I just want to sleep" very well.

Allison noticed looked at the finish, and though "Oh (censored). They've already finished, and I didn't set up the photofinish camera. I hope they know who won."



While Lexi and Bernadette got back to Allison they argued about the race.
"I crossed the line first," Lexi confidently stated.
"No, I'm sure I won," Bernadette replied.
"Even if you did, you cut the track and you should get a penalty."
"This was not intentional. And you pushed me to the Pillar!"
"That was because you already crashed into me at the kitchen table."
"So you admit that you did that. I did not do that at the kitchen table. You drove right in front of me across the race track."
"I just took the regular line there! This is going nowhere. We have to let Allison decide."
"Indeed. Allison, who has won?"




"I don't know, I didn't see you finish."
"Well, Bernadette clearly cut the track. You should be able to confirm that."
"I didn't see that either."



"Did you watch the race at all?" Bernadette asked.
"Uh, no, I was distracted."
"By what? Wait, why is there glass on the floor?"


"I may have hit a lamp."
Lexi frowned. "May have? What is that supposed to mean? We told you to be careful."
"I thought Bernadette had put blanks in the gun, and I didn't really look where I pointed it."
Bernadette said "I am actually not sure if Carmen gave me blanks."
Lexi: "I guess it's most important that everyone is OK. We'll never know who won the race."
Bernadette: "But yes! I have won."
"No you didn't! I did!"
Allison sighed and said "This is pointless. I'm going to have a Jägermeister."
Lexi and Bernadette responded together "NO!"


I guess Davidd is right and there has to be a rematch

I wish more race drivers wore cheongsams.

Allison stormed out, because she wasn't gettin a Jägermeister.  But she didn't come back alone.
"Look, a dog followed me. Do you think I can keep it?"


"Erm. That's not a dog, it's a wolf. And a big one too."
"Yikes!  Do you think it's going to eat us?"
"Don't worry. Bernadette and me can handle a wolf. But you really should be more careful with taking animals home. Wolves usually travel in packs, so his fellows will probably follow him."



"He likes it when you scratch him behind his ears. But Lexi is right, a wolf is no problem but a pack is too much. We should let him go again. And then hope that he doesn't come back with the pack, and then surprise us in the night."
"They won't surpise us, I always set up a security system everywhere I go."


I hope Allison doesn't get nightmares of the idea of a pack of wolves trying to get into their apartment.

Some "pet" owners can get overly excited and impractical... Frankly they were right to question Allison's judgment.

Very nice job of making the background look to scale in the last photo.

The holiday of the three together is coming to an end.

Lexi: "Bernadette. We are going to say goodbye to you now. I've got some tips for your journey. There is a ghosttown nearby, I mentioned it a few days ago."
"Cool!" Allison said excitedly. "Are there real ghosts in it?"
"Sure there are!" Lexi said.



"Will the spirits not bother me?" Bernadette sounded a bit worried.
"No, they nailed the windows shut, so they can't get out of the houses."



"Aaw. I was hoping to see some ghosts. Can't I come with you, Bernadette?" Allison suggested.
"That would be nice. I'd feel safer with the two of us. And Gizem could teach you accountability."



Lexi thought about it for a moment and then said: "That sounds like a good idea. But you need to come back, because your Ferrari is still in our garden. Is that Jägermeister you are drinking?"
"Just one glass this time!"
"This time you should be careful with it."
"Yeah, yeah. I'll be careful. I don't want to have another headache."



"So that's settled then. Allison comes with me. Now it is time to say goodbye. I really enjoyed it."



"Yes, we had a lot of fun. Maybe we can meet again sometime. I hope Allison won't be too much of a burden for you."
"Hey!" Allison protested.



"Don't worry, I'll take good care of Allison. We can teach her to handle herself."




"And you, keep safe."
"Sure! Nothing will happen to me with Bernadette and the rest of their gang with me."
"Just don't shoot anyone."
"Hey! I never did! And it's not my fault, that I shot that lamp!"



Then they got into the car and waved goodbye to Lexi.



And then they left.
"Goodbye Lexi!"



"Bye Allison!" And while they were driving away, Lexi said to herself: "I hope everyone at Gizem's will be allright. Alhough there's a lot of people to watch over her, it's also a targetrich environment. And Bernadette mentioned they practice archery, so I hope no-one is getting hurt."



"So Cat. Now we're alone"


This story was shot last september. The posts here are spread over a month, in reality it was a 3 week holiday. I've got one more update of Bernadette and Allison visiting the town Lexi mentioned.

Oh no, she's been recruited. Her parents were right to worry...

Great Pictures . There are some amazing places You didi the outdoor shots. Also the sunset pics. I try some, but You need a good cam to shot against the sun. My one can´t do this. Thanks for the pics

Thank you! Sunset pics do not always work out nice. Often I take a load of pictures during a shoot and use only a fraction of them (of the shoot I recently made with Tomoe Gozen in the polders I used about 15 of the 100 pictures I made). That's the benefit of a digital camera!

I got still more outdoor pictures of Lexi from last september and oktober to post here. So even though the holiday of the three ends here, there is still more to come.

As for the story of Allison and Bernadette, here are my last pictures, and then GnK can take over. As mentioned, Bernadette and Allison took a look at the ghosttown Lexi mentioned (she visited it the year before).


Allison: "So this is the ghosttown. I wonder if there are still angels in the church."



Bernadette: "Maybe. I'm glad they nailed the windows well, so the spirits can't escape."



Allison: "Although it is nice here, it's a bit desolate."
"Yes, we should move on."



Bernadette: "I wonder if Lexi drove over this highway"
"If she did, she totally ruined it."



They also visited the excavation Lexi visited.
"Lexi said she'd dug this hole last year," Allison said.
"I think she exaggerated a bit."
"You think? She can probably do anything."
"But she is not wonder woman."

That is one nice church! Too bad the town's abandoned, but I think you explained earlier (quarry and all). Lexi ruined the highway -- nice! I was going to make a funny comment about Allison making it out of Gizem's ... establishment, but then thought it might be perceived as more diss than humor, so I restrained myself.

I'm curious: how could an entire town like this be abandoned? Particularly in Europe, where the population density is relatively high?

I want that church! I want to live there! That would be so cool! But I'm sure, even if it were for sale, it would be beyond my budget!


Is Allison really going to stay with GNK now?

Is Allison really going to stay with GNK now?

The town is abandoned because of the excavation for browncoal next to it. The town is not completely abandoned though. There are still people living in the white house behind Allison and Bernadette (at least when I took the pictures last september).


The highway is rerouted for the same reason.
