Thanks for the comments.
If a better t-shirt show's up, one with a thinner neck section, i might update the figure.

Wow you have gone a long way to reach perfection, while the original headpainting looked good it is now spectacularly realistic in the right setting and lighting also. And there is something really sinister about Micky Mouse, always has been. Total success.

Thanks.
I am happy..
The hair was never going to be correct, as the sculpt is from Logan's Run
The Micky Mouse poster should possibly feature more creases.

Having gotten involved in two Kitbash figures (Alex Price and Asami) i wonder to myself if there will be a 3rd? as they can get expensive, and time consuming.

Since i have 2x Alex Price head sculpts, i have wondered if there might be a way of adding real hair?

Of course there are. I've done a number of head conversion (i.e., rehairing) threads, and this one should get you started. I imagine the heads you have are made of resin which is a minor complication, but you should be able to whittle back/down the sculpted hair to the point where you are left with something close enough to a scalp to apply the real hair. It is easier with plastic, but some effort and patience and a sharp X-acto knife (or even a Dremel) would help. If you do use a Dremel, however, you will end up covered in resin dust, which is not only annoying but dangerous to the health.

Shaun, if you haven't gotten it, I'd recommend the NECA 1/7th scale Werewolf. I just received mine today and it's pretty cool. Comes with two heads, has some articulation (though it's a bit tricky to work with), and requires heating the heads with a hair dryer before attempting to take on and off. The detail, however, is really well done.

I included that last pic so you can see how it scales with a 1/6th figure (though she does have ridiculously high heels on, and of course, the stand.

I am was aware of the Neca Kessler Wolf, and considered picking it up. If it was 1/6 scale i probably would have picked it up. It looks a decent enough figure. His arms look on the thin side. Neca posted an official image with the arms spread out crab-like which seemed like an odd pose to go for. I don't dogs/wolves can position their arms as such. Maybe werewolves can? Very Happy

Here is the image:

PCS (Pop Culture Shock) once showed a 1/6 Kessler Wolf figure along with David and Jack figures. Sadly they never made it out into the wild, and the owner sold PCS, which is know known as Premium Collectibles Studio. Seems they wanted to hand onto the PCS name. The PCS Kessler wolf likeness when it comes to portrait looks more accurate, to me alteast.

Here are some images:

The Kessler Wolf looks great. I prefer it to the Neca figure.
David and Jack look average. PCS also previewed some 1/6 figures with multi-media jackets.

The only thing slightly strange/odd about the PCS Kessler Wolf is the fur on the head looking smoother/less detailed than the fur on the body. Fails to make sense?

Here is an image showing the multi-media jackets:

The smoothness of that head could have just been a placeholder; the figure I got is pretty detailed.

The pic with Jack on his back looks extra funny.

Jack - 'i'll lay down on the ground, and you put your paw on my chest..'
Wolf - 'like this?'
Jack - 'yeah, just like that..'

I have been thinking..
Since i have two head sculpts, one with an amazing paint app, and the other with an ok paint app, i thought about re visiting the ok paint app head sculpt and having another go at improving the eye position, and adding real hair, to make the hair more accurate to the character. In stead of removing the sculpted hair, i thought there might be a way of gluing real hair onto the sculpted hair and extending the sculpted hair using real hair.

I would think it would end up being too bulky if you tried it that way. You might not have to Dremel off all of the hair, but a large chunk of it would probably still have to go.

Yeah it could work, I have done something similar before, but as Stryker said, remove some layers of the original hair sculpt. I mostly used a sanding pad with low grain to have more control and cover larger surfaces.
Then keep the roots of the plastic hair visible to have a good basis to where you put can put the hair strands.  Unfortunately I don't think I have pics but you get the idea. And better paint it in a fitting, darker tone before you pit on the hair.

With another character I didn't even sand down the hair, just glued over it which made it slightly more voluminous. But that wasn't a problem here as I did not want to recreate a certain character like you do.

Thanks. I need to think it over some more.
What did you use to glue the hair in place?
Did you apply single stands or clumps of hair?

Update: I just just found a wealth of knowledge on YouTube Smile

NECA Toony Terrors - An American Werewolf in London, Jack & Kessler Wolf 6" Figures 2 Pack

These arrived a couple of days ago Smile
6inch not 1/6th scale, but i knew that.

How could i not pick these up Very Happy
Not much in the way of articulation, making them feel like some sort of PVC crossover between figure and statue, not that i am complaining.

Check out the back of the window box. A scene depicting the exterior of The Slaughtered Lamb, a pub (bar) that features during An American Werewolf in London

Given the relatively low price point, these figures are totally worth it.

NECA recently offered a larger more series take on the Kessler Wolf. There is something about the Toony Terrors figure that looks more screen accurate.
It might have something to do with the legs.
