Did another calculation, and must have had a moment when calculating what Phicen/TBLeague to pick up.
I went for the PLMB2017-S27B Suntan with a height of 23.5cm (26cm once the head sculpt is added).

Jenny Agutter height 1.7m (170cm)
Divided by 6 = 28.33cm

The ideal Phicen/LBLeague would be 26cm high.

Update: The website i purchased the body from stated that the height was 26cm high.

The site was possibly stating the height of the body with a head included?

There is a thread here on this forum where people have been compiling a list of height information for various tbleague bodies:

https://onesixthfigures.forumotion.com/t3013-tbleague-phicen-seamless-bodies-with-steel-skeleton-catalog-updated-continually

A few other tbleague bodies you could look into:

- s25b (quite short and petite, but taller and a little more robust than the s27b)
- s17b (one of the taller bodies, but has a smaller bust than a lot of the more busty tbleague bodies. Height could be fine if the figure is meant to be viewed alone or if you make sure the male character is the right height next to her)
- s19b (taller, but with a smaller bust, I believe this is one the Stryker is using for his Logan's Run figure)
- s29b (somewhat more curvy and busty, but in-between the petite bodies and the taller bodies in terms of height. However, this one also has an issue with short-ish arms, so perhaps avoid if you are trying to remedy that.)

Alternatively, if you are open to other types of 1/6 bodies, you may have a few other options. Given the areas that the t-shirt covers, you could potentially get away with using the PopToys Xing 'semi-seamless' body. This one has seamless arms and legs, and there is recently an 'improved version' available. It's not overly tall (though perhaps still not quite tall enough for what you need?) and comes in small, medium, and large bust, and in suntan and pale skintone. I have several and I find them useful alternatives, depending on the character.

Also, there are Jiaou doll bodies, which while perhaps not as reliable as tbleague in terms of overall durability, come in several variations, including a medium bust body and a wide array of skintones:

I don't own one of these and thus can't personally vouch for them, but I do know some people find them quite helpful when looking for different skintones than just the basic 'suntan vs. pale'.

PLMB2017-S19B
I wonder what the height is to the top of neck ball joint?

I have read PLMB2017-S19B is the same as S01A and S02A but with removable feet.

The Jiaou figures seem ok. Low price etc.

I found this line up, which features measurements that same way i measured the PLMB2017-S27B
I have added a green ? to the two that seem ideal. I cannot make out the S no.?
I'm half sure it says S07C ? ..the other being S01A

From what I understand, yes, the s18/19 type is the same as the s01a, just with detachable feet. The issue with the seamless ankles/un-detachable feet is that those types cannot stand up on their own. So if you wanted the body type of the s01a, but also wanted the ability to stand up un-aided, then you'd have to go with the s18/19 type (s19b is the suntan version).

I'm not sure of the exact measurement to the ball joint at the neck, but you could maybe get an idea from this pic:

Popped to the local DIY store this morning, to return two paint testers that were of no use. The plan was to search for Tuscan Terracotta or Copper Blush. Neither was in stock. The next closest color was Barranquilla. I think i'll work well. It looks more like the scene in question when the lights are off. Less orange/pink. I could add some drops of red to warm it up slightly.

Tuscan Terracotta, problem is, no seems to have it in stock anymore.
I'll keep searching, otherwise i have no choice but to re_think.

You could always get the Copper Blush and Coral flair and experiment with mixing to get a close approximation of the Tuscan...

No. But they come with two pairs of feet: flat-footed and arched (for heels).

Neither of those colors were in stock. Maybe they are out of fashion, as 90% of the colors appeared to focus on greens, greys, pale. I did pick up Berry Smoothie (pink) the other day. I could mix in a bit of that Smile

Do you mean the s18/19? Or am I missing something and the seamless ankle type has different variations?

I am thinking about:
PLMB2017-S19B Suntan

Reason being, the S01A while being seamless, appears to have non flat feet?

Yeah, and not to mention it cannot stand up on its own, so you'd have to use a figure stand for it (even in a diorama scenario). The s19b, which can stand on its own, seems preferable in this instance.

It's a start, a slow start on the base. The base is roughly 4x the size of a rectangle Hot Toys base.
It made sense to include part of the passage beyond the door. The original plan was to have a narrow passage. In the end it made
sense to make it full width.

The blue image on the right came about after downsizing a light switch to 1/6 scale. 1.4cm high, 1.4cm wide.

A poster of Mickey Mouse hangs in the passage. Searching around on the web, i located the image of Mickey in question. It was old,
dirty, vintage. Some time was spent cleaning it up in Photoshop. As you can see, i printed it out a number of times, testing out
various printer setting. In the end, i found a decent enough setting, and printed out Mickey Mouse onto thick white paper.
At the moment the finish is matte. The plan is to add some gloss.

It feels like a puzzle. Working out what to do first. How one piece cannot be measured, made, attached, until other piece/pieces are in place. I think i've figured it out. I have settled on 10cm being the ideal width for a door way. There are no plans to go full ceiling height, although i might attach a top for the purpose of photo's, to help light bounce around. It should strength to the structure over all.

There is a small section of floor that i was going to paint black, as it is outside of the scene. I entertained the idea of printing out the tile floor pattern and sticking it down.

Originally i took and screen grab from the DVD, as i cannot take screen shots from Blu-ray.
Using the Transform options in Photoshop, managed remove the perspective and make it into a tile pattern. The results look ok, if slightly fuzzy.

I managed to get someone to post a still from the Blu-ray, and set about applying the same process that had been applied to the DVD screen shot to obtain a tile to turn into a printable pattern.

I increased brightness (bottom left) then increased saturation (lower right). During one of the scenes, the floor pattern in question looks quite bright and vibrant.

For the moment, i cannot work out if the floor covering is made from carpet or hard tile? i think it is carpet.

Something else, the DVD picture is darker than the Blu-ray

My 1st attempt at using balsa wood to make a 1/6th scale skirting board.
It looks massive. I will ignore what my eyes see, and trust the calculations.
Sanding the 2 top strips, which are 4mm high, proved to be a challenge.
I was never going to get the curve 100% ..it will do for my Kitbash Very Happy

I could sand in the top 2 gaps and make them wider, more angled. Possibly.

That looks good. If anything (and if at all possible) sand just the upper most “rail” down a bit so it isn’t flush with the second — that’s generally how most router bits work, and in the screen caps those two rails appear to be different levels.

PLMB2017-S19B Suntan arrived today.
I popped on the head sculpt, and i don't know.
The neck seems large (wide). Maybe the portrait should be slightly larger?
The height of the character is now 28cm which is correct.
One bonus, is the t-shirt looks even better on this taller body. I will need some vertical stretching.

Maybe S24A would be ideal? if very slightly shorter.

Interesting. Well, an overly wide neck is an unusual problem, but harder to fix than an overly thin one (which you can stuff, in-between the metal joint rod and the "flesh"). S24A (or, if you want suntan, S25B) is an excellent body in my experience, and probably better sized for a female of more average height. But maybe Jenny's taller -- I trust you to have done your homework. Anyway, S24-25 will have a narrower neck, and the t-shirt will probably not need vertical stretching. You have choices ahead of you.

Sorry the new body isn't ideal either. This is the frustrating reality of making figures from scratch -- sometimes it takes a while to find the right body. Another option is also the s17b. I'm not totally sure but I would presume the neck on that one is at least slightly slimmer than the one on s19b.

Any opinions on scale? portrait to body radio? ..neck thickness.
